About this mod
The fantasy of Rogues is going around assassinating targets and being hard to catch. That fantasy is hardly fulfilled playing melee Rogue. This mod aims to allow vertical progression so you can embrace the Rogue fantasy!

I have extensively tested this mod, but if you notice anything please do let me know, I will fix it ASAP.
In summary, you will be mobile, insanely powerful isolated single target
damage, and super slippery. Just as Rogues are supposed to feel in
fantasy games.
Progression:
- 1, 2 and 3 remain unchanged (DONT FORGET TO PICK ASSASSIN)
- 4. ShadowStep: costs 1 Bonus Action (Teleport to a visible area)
- 5. Extra Attack (Passive) & Pommel Strike: costs 1 Bonus Action (Deal bludgeoning damage and stun for one turn if the enemy fails the
CON saving throw)
- 6. Shadow Dance: No cost (Gain 1 Action Point and during that turn all your attacks benefit from Unseen Blade, Short Rest CD)
- 7. Unseen Blade: Passive (Deal 1d6+DexMod while stealthed or invisible)
- 8. Remise: costs 1 Bonus Action (Similar to Smite, you can react and spend 1 BA to add 1d12+DexMod on a non-crit or 2d12+DexMod on a
miss. They only work if you're wearing a one handed weapon and nothing
in your off-hand, to allow more creative builds surrounding Rapiers)
- 9. Vanish: No Cost (Become invisible for 10 turns, once per short rest CD)
- 11. Azzazzinate (Spelled correctly in-game, spelled like this here to avoid censorship): 1AP 1BA (Deal 3d12+DexMod + Sneak Attack dmg, must
be hiding/invisible and have advantage, long rest CD)
Surprise + Ambush + Bhaalist Armor = PAINNNN!!!
Rogue lacks a lot of the things that marshals are really good at. In BG3 the
value of Rogues is supposed to be it's utility and early game power
spike with sneak attack, at the cost of falling off later and simply
becoming a skill monkey, unless you go ranged. My goal with this mod is
to make rogues much mor* than just a skill monkey without making it
stronger than SSB Paladin or Sorlock.
//Not being a Monk was causing issues with the animation of Shadow Step, changed to Misty Step for the meantime.
- Changed Shadow Step animations into Misty Step's animations.
//As it was on release, it was worth dipping into something else for three levels, this will add a little incentive to stick around without making the build overpowered and continue to fulfill the goal of being a Rogue monocalss.
- Added Assassinate as a little incentive to stick to Assassin all the way to level 11.
Installation:
Preferably through BG3MM
That's the tool I use so I won't be able to help if you're using a different installation method.
