New Scimitars with drow theme. All weapons have a two hands version (Executioner Draich) and one hand version (Drow Scimitar). You can change between both at any moment using the Elven Smithing Kit (See Customization below).
All with new models and textures. The Legendary models and Avernus Ember are dyable.
Executioner Draich are finesse but require 10 strenght to use them "properly". To account for the extras the damage dice is one step lower (1d10 from 2d6) and have "Execution", a powerfull weapon action that can kill medium or smaller targets on a critical. They lose "Lacerate" as they have build in bleeding.
Drow Scimitars have damage bonus when dual wielded, they also will get the bonus when using an Elven Blade or Elven Dagger offhand. "Lacerate" is improved to "Double Slash" that attack two times.
Location
They can be loot on the world, in each place you randomly find either a 2H or 1H version:
- Uncommon: Backpack nearby the skeleton with the Spurred Band.
-Thraen (Uncommon): Storehouse in the underdark. Inside a trapped chest with scrolls.
-Rare: Looted from BOOOAL.
-Very Rare: Inside the Potter's Chest in the Ruined Battlefield. Same one with the Luminous Gloves.
-Avernus Ember (Very Rare): Looted from a Heavy Chest in the room just north of Yurgir. Same one with the Boots of Brilliance.
-Legendary: Dropped by a Spectator in Hope's prison. Same one with the Burnished Ring.
As always if you want the items asap, you can use Elven Weaponry - Tutorial Chest.
Customization
You can change between Executioner Draich (2H) and Drow Scimitar (1H) using the Elven Smithing Tool (not included, separate download. Follow the link). This will change the look, stats, special effects and sometimes even name.
Avernus Ember only have 2H version (It won't look well in 1H).
Installation
BG3 Mod Manager is recommended.
Use either the Vortex Mod Manager or the BG3 Mod Manager and install this mod.
Make sure you deploy your mods if using Vortex or export the mod list if using BG3 Mod Manager.
For Update just overwrite old version pak with the new one. If you want to be 100% sure everything goes smoothly do the following:
-Remove equiped items from this mod from your characters (you can leave them in the inventory, no need to store them), save your game and exit.
-Install the new version (just overwrite old one).
-Load, you can reequip your items as you wish.
As I said, nothing of this should be needed, I update like hundreds of times while testing just overwritten the old file. But the above proccess should be the correct one to update items mods.
Uninstallation isn't support. You can try to use a mod that create a temporary container, like Easy Toggle Tutorial Chest Summon. Place items in it and wait for it to vanish into the void with them. Save, exist and remove the mod. There's also several tutorials on nexus that gives methods that may work. Remember to deploy/export after uninstalling mods.
Optional
If you want the items to appear in the tutorial chest use: Elven Weaponry - Tutorial Chest. Load it after all main files from weaponry series.
Alternatively if you want to spam them with cheat engine or some other tool use the crate UUID code and pick what you need: 35336174-d688-46ca-837e-e92d982c00ae
