The features of the Subclass are as follows:
Level 3:
Gain the following Proficiences:
- Medium Armour
- Shields
- Mauls
- Warhammers
- Flails
- Morningstars
- Greataxes
- Battleaxes
Gain a new variation of Sneak Attack called "Cheap Shot":
This is my recreation of a Passive I found in the game files called Adaptable Skullduggery that allows the use of Sneak Attack with any weapon. It adds the attack "Cheap Shot" to your Hotbar and also two versions to your Reactions (regular hit and critical). My suggestion would be to remove the regular Sneak Attack ability from your hotbar and deactivate it from your Reactions once you've chosen this Subclass for simplicity's sake as you won't be using it.
Pugilist (Passive):
Following on from a comment I got, I decided to add in scaling unarmed damage to the Subclass similiar to how Monk's unarmed damge works. Your unarmed damage will now roll 1d6+STR/DEX Modifier (whichever's higher) from Levels 3 - 8 (you can't pick the Subclass before Level 3) and a 1d8 from Levels 9 - 12.
Level 5:
Extra Attack (Passive):
You can now make two attacks with a single Action like any other martial class.
Level 6
Trip Up (Ability):
A once per turn ability that does half damage but has a high chance of knocking your target Prone. Works well to set up your Cheap Shot and also synergises with Merciless Strike from Level 9.
Fighting Style (Passive):
- Defense
- Duelling
- Great Weapon Fighting
- Protection
Level 9
Bully (Passive):
This is a custom Passive I've made that makes it so that any enemy you Shove is now knocked Prone for 2 turns. You also gain Advantage on Ability Checks and Saving Throws using Athletics. Shoving will be much more consistent along with other Strength-related actions. Will also work extremely well with Reliable Talent at Level 11 to make your Shoving even better.
Merciless Strike (Passive):
This is a simple Passive that makes it so that your first attack each turn will Maim your target for 2 turns. Savvy players will recognise the synergy with Bully and Trip Up as now you can prone and Maim an enemy in one turn by yourself, causing them to skip a turn. This turns you into an effective single-target disabler in the late-game.
