About this mod
Ever found it unimmersive seeing Shadowheart's allegiance to Shar at first glance? Me too. So I changed her staring gear.
- Permissions and credits
Changes Shadowheart's starting gear.
Requires a new game to see the changes.
Only works for companion Shadowheart, not for player as Shadowheart so far.
Mashed up a custom outfit / dark leather armor in the BG3 toolkit.
Replaced her mace and shield with a simple dagger.
Should be much less obvious now that she follows Shar.
Reasoning behind this change:
She's on a secret mission. That implies some sort of cover. Her vanilla outfit felt just... wrong to me. A leather based armor means more mobility / flexibility. Less shiny metal also means being less visible at night. Carrying a clunky mace and shield seams counter-intuitive as well. She's a cleric and has many tricks up her sleeve, hasn't she?
Install with BG3 Mod Manager.
