Description:

The Shaman is a class inspired from World of Warcraft that harnesses the elements to empower themselves. Shamans can use elemental magic to deal damage from afar, engage in close combat, or heal their allies.
 
The Shaman’s spellcasting modifier is Intelligence.

Installation:

Like any other mod, you can install it however you prefer; I don’t use Vortex or other mod managers, but it should be fine either way.

If installing manually, place the .pak file in:
C:\Users<your username>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods

This mod was made with the BG3 toolkit, so it works with Patch 7, but I’m not sure if it will work with previous patches.
 
Features:
 
The class has three subclasses: Elemental, Enhancement, and Restoration, corresponding to Caster, Melee, and Healer roles, respectively.

- Elemental: This subclass focuses on dealing damage from a distance. Critical hits with Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning can trigger the passive ability called Lightning Overload, allowing you to free cast the same spell you just cast.

- Enhancement: This subclass emphasizes dual-wielding and melee combat, enhancing weapons with elemental powers. Attacking with a melee weapon generates Maelstrom charges, which let you cast Shaman spells without using spell slots. Enhancement Shamans have fewer spell slots than other subclasses. When a Shaman enhances their weapons, the attack uses Dexterity modifiers instead of the usual Strength.

- Restoration: This subclass specializes in healing over time, utilizing spells like Riptide, which heals each turn. Casting Healing Rain drenches everyone and grants allies Restorative Waters, healing them every turn. Earth Shield can be cast on an ally to heal them whenever they take damage.
 
Spells and Abilities:
 
While Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning exist in Baldur's Gate, Shamans have different versions that align more closely with the World of Warcraft style. Lightning Bolt is a single-target spell, while Chain Lightning can now critically hit as well.

- Flame Shock: A cantrip that deals fire damage and applies a Flame Shock burn, dealing fire damage each turn.
  
- Frost Shock: A cantrip that deals frost damage and reduces the target's movement speed.
  
- Earth Shock: A cantrip that deals bludgeoning damage and silences the target.

- Elemental Blast: An Elemental subclass-only spell that deals significant damage to a single target and applies all your shock effects.

- Lava Burst: Available to all subclasses, it deals fire damage to a single target. Critically hits if target has flame shock applied.

- Thunderstorm: Accessible to all subclasses, but the Elemental subclass gains access to it much earlier. It deals lightning damage and pushes enemies back.

- Lightning Shield: Protects you from harm, dealing lightning damage to attackers.

- Flametongue Weapon and Frostbrand Weapon: Enhancement subclass abilities that enhance your main and off-hand weapons with fire and cold damage, respectively.

- Chain Heal: Similar to Chain Lightning but heals allies, jumping between them to provide healing.

- Hex: Transforms the target into a harmless frog.

- Bloodlust: Grants everyone in your party an extra action point for one turn.

- And more unmentioned spells and abilities.
 
Enhancement Shamans gain melee weapon abilities like Stormstrike, which deals damage with both weapons, useful for gaining Maelstrom stacks. Elemental Shamans receive passive abilities more frequently than other subclasses to further bolster their spell damage.

- Add more spells, abilities, and passives.
- Introduce Totems.
- Improve spell effects.
