As I ran about the wilderness with my stout hearted bearbarian dwarf, I stumbled upon a familiar scene. A scene out of nightmare, Zhent caravaneers being torn apart by gnolls. Two forlorn souls, human bacon in potentia. Long pork in the making. Dead meat. Doomed, detected and caught.
Rugan, oh dear Rugan, he said to leave the heroics to them's that don't value their own hides. But what if Rugan was the hero all along? What if he'd been holding back because, had he unleashed a sliver of his potential, all narrative tension would have been relinquished? Rugan died so that Tav might live a legend - but no longer. Rugan is back.
It is my recommendation when using this mod to send Flind in against the Zhents and maintain a respectful distance. Do not anger Rugan. Do not mention Rugan's uncle Hoven. Definitely don't bring up the time Rugan's sister was drunk at Oktoberfest and aired his entire family's dirty laundry to anyone in a 30 meter radius. Oh and don't attack Rugan. Not unless you brought Elminster with you, and maybe Raphael to boot.
