FULL RELEASE COMPATIBLE. This mod adds "The Book of Spells and Trinkets" spell container to Gale's robe. The spell container calls a book that holds 18 magical items that the wearer of the robe has access to.
Only one item from the container can be used per short rest. So choose wisely.

Mod Managers Supported
Gale's Robe
This mod adds the spell container, "Book of Spells and Trinkets" to Gale's robe.
The spell container calls a book (it has properties of a bag of holding) that holds 18 magical items that the wearer of the robe has access to.
Items are not removable. They are permanent unique items specific to the wearer of the robe.
All the spells attached to the items inside the book cost an action point to cast.
Only one item from the container can be used per short rest.
So choose the items you use wisely, and sparingly.

Items & Spells
The items and spells included are unique items to Baldur's Gate 3, custom made for this mod. Some of the items hold spells that, are in fact real spells
in the Forgotten Realms world. Others are home brews of my own creation, but fit really well with the game play, and add a bit of variety.
Essentially I made this mod to curve my spamming of Magic Missiles and other powerful spells. And It worked!
Custom tooltip icons for each of the items have also been added. They are matched to the art style of vanilla tooltip spell icons so the mods art will be seamless with the vanilla artwork.

Level 1 Calls forth 2 soaring ice balls. Level 3 Casts 2 magical vestal orbs.
(1d10) Cold Inflicts SLOW, Creates Ice Surface (3d6) Radiant Chance to Knock back and Knock Out
Level 1 Conjure acid that rains down on a 3m radius. Level 1 Call forth a blast of mud. (3d6)+2 Acid Creates Acid Ground Surface (1d8)+1 Bludgeoning Creates Muddy Ground surface
Level 3 Call forth a nuclear explosion in a 5m radius. Level 3 Teleport anywhere within 40m.
(4d6) Fire Chance of Fire Ground Surface Ignores Vision Blocks
Level 3 Cast 3 acidic darts of magical force. Level 2 Creates 3 illusory duplicates of the (1d4)+1 Force (1d4) Acid Creates Acid Ground Surface caster and companions.
Level 3 Target yourself and your group/turn invisible. Level 3 Creates a Supreme Healing potion
Spell ends early if attacked or a spell is cast out of thin air.
Level 2 Unlocks an object held shut by a Level 3 Target a creature turned to stone,
mundane or magical lock. back to flesh.
Level 3 Summons 3 black bears to your side. Level 3 Summons 3 wolves to your side.
Level 3 Infest a group of creatures within a 3m radius Level 3 (Optional) Rub the lamp to create a
with tiny crawling spiders. ring that holds Gale's (1d4) Piercing (1d4) Poison each turn Spells and Trinkets spell.

Book of Spells and Trinkets Ring
Location 1 (Cheat)
Spawn in the ring using the spell "A Wizards wish".
Location 2 (Cheat)
New game location.
The Cartilaginous Chest (AKA Tutorial Chest) in the dead end room of Mind Flayer ship,
the one with the health potion, holds the Book of Spells and Trinkets Ring.
Location 3 (Acquire legitimately but it's still a cheat)
You can also buy the ring from the first merchant(Arron) you meet at The Hollow in the Druids Den.
It will cost you 3 gold each.

Spawn in the ring using the spell "A Wizards wish".

Compatibility
This mod has been packaged in such a way that it will/should be compatible with any mod in your load order.
Install
See below for some install methods available for popular Mod Managers used for Baldur's Gate 3.
Also, a manual install method has been included. Please choose the method that is right for you.
Method 1 - (Vortex)
1. Use Nexus Vortex to install automatically.
Method 2 - (BG3 Mod Manager)
1. Extract the archive.
2. Copy paste the GalesSpellsTrinkets.pak file into C:\Users\YourPCName\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
3. Open BG3 Mod Manager and drag the mod from the right window to the left window.
4. Click the "Export Order To Game" button (this writes the mod settings)
5. Install complete, start your game
Method 3 - (Manual)
1. Extract the archive.
2. Copy the "GalesSpellsTrinkets.pak" file from the extracted archive.
3. Paste into: C:\Users\(Your PC Name)\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
4. Navigate to: PlayerProfiles\[Profile Name]\modsettings.lsx
5. Open modsettings.lsx with your notepad or similar app.
6. Add these lines under <node id="ModOrder"> <children> NOTE - These lines can be copied from the code below)

Un-Install
Method 1 - (Vortex)
1. Use Vortex to un-install automatically
Method 2 - (Mod Manager)
1. Drag and drop the mod from the left window to the right window in BG3 mod manager2. Click the "Export Order To Game" button (this writes the mod settings)3. Remove the .pak file from C:\Users\YourPCName\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods3. Uninstall complete.
Method 3 - (Manual)
1. Navigate to: C:\Users\(Your PC Name)\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods
2. Highlight and delete the mod
3. Navigate to: PlayerProfiles\[Profile Name]\modsettings.lsx
4. Open modsettings.lsx with your notepad or similar app.
5. Remove these lines under <node id="ModOrder"> <children>
6. Save the file
7. Un-Install complete.
