About this mod
Want an epic nature guardian? This mod adds a much needed set of nature-themed heavy armor and a greatsword to fit the theme of the Oath of the Ancients Paladin. It is available at Sorcerous Sundries in Act 3, and balanced with other end-game equipment.

The set revolves around the entangled mechanic:
- the greatsword has a chance to ensnare effect.
- the gloves/helmet both reduce the critical hit threshold on ensnared targets.
- when landing from a jump, the boots create a living vine aura that makes enemies roll with dissadvantage to ensnared.
The set also has a number of defense capacities:
- The base AC for the armor is low (17) but scales with charisma, the spell DC for paladins.
- The boots have roots digging into the ground, providing strong anti-control mechanics.
- The gloves allow defending nearby allies via attacks of opportunity, an ability to retailiate against attackers with a thorn whip, and add an extra reaction.
- Standing on plant-based surfaces gives a small health regeneration effect.
- Improved perception, initiative, darkvision, etc, to fit the ancient sentinel RP.
The mod is made for Act 3, because I believe there are suitable equipment choices for this subclass in Acts 1 and 2, but in Act 3 there are no armours nor weapons that fit the theme of the class. Please don't ask me to make variants for Acts 1 and 2.
The set works for all genders and races. You´ll notice that the model for standard females (e.g. Jaheira in the screenshot) is different to those for males or strong types. Functionally they are the same ofc.
The items should appear in Sorcerous Sundries in Act 3 after a few ingame days. If you are using the script extended console, here are the commands to spawn the set via cheats (you can do this in any act if you want, but it will be somewhat OP):
