Why cure disease when you could spread it? Your god has tasked you to spread sickness and decay throughout the realms. Harness the deadly Spell Plague to corrode your enemies until their frail bodies fail.

PLEASE READ: This is my first actually big mod. It has gone through some playtesting but it's very possible that issues persist. If they do, please do not hesitate to let me know. This mod REQUIRES ImprovedUI or else the icons won't show up. This mod uses the new built-in subclass compatibility that was added in Patch 7, and so you should be fine without CF.
Subclass originally created by kingstarman as a D&D Homebrew, I have just adapted it to Baldur's Gate 3. You can view the original subclass HERE.


Domain Spells
Level 1- Ray of Sickness, Inflict Wounds
Level 3-
Blindness, Protection from Poison
Level 5- Bestow Curse, Stinking Cloud
Level 7- Blight, Confusion
Level 9- Cloudkill, Contagion


Plague Doctor
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficency with Wisdom(Medicine) ability checks and have advantage when making Medicine checks to diagnose and identify treatments for diseases and poisons.
NOTES: At Level 1, you gain Proficency in Medicine, as well as Advantage on all Medicine checks. I felt this was balanced, because there are like 3 Medicine checks in game.

Spell Plague
Also at 1st level, when you successfully deal damage to a creature using a Cleric spell that creature gains instances of Spell Plague equal to the spells level (cantrips 1). While a creature has 1 or more instances of Spell Plague at the start of their turn they take necrotic damage equal to the number of instances of Spell Plague they have and their instances of Spell Plague are reduced by 1.
NOTES: The bread and butter of this subclass. Works with all spells, not just Cleric spells. Definitely not because I didn't want to put in the extra work just to limit the player.

Channel Divinity: Viral Infection
At 2nd level, as a bonus action, you can channel your divinity to spread your Spell Plague amongst the masses. Any creature within 15 feet of a creature that has at least 1 instance of Spell Plague must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, creatures gain a number of instances of Spell Plague equal to half your Cleric level (Rounded Down).
NOTES: While this is a bit weak in early levels, it will quickly ramp up into being devastating and a great tool to spread your plague. Does exactly what it says on the tin, at least it should.

Compromise Immune System
At 6th level, a creature that has at least 1 instance of Spell Plague have disadvantage on saving throws against spells and effects that inflict a condition.

Additionally, you have advantage on saving throws saving throws against spells and effects that inflict a condition.
NOTES: This isn't possible to implement without SE, and so I had to take a few liberties, but I am happy with how it turned out. Those infected with your Spell Plague have disadvantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma saving throws, while you have advantage on all of them. I do think that this is powerful, but I do not think this is over-powered.

Potent Spellcasting
Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.
NOTES: You get Potent Spellcasting. Self-explanatory.

There is a Level 17 feature, but it's incredibly powerful and while I have some ideas on how to implement it, I'm fine with it being unimplemented for now.
