"Forsaken" is a custom modded campaign set in the universe of Warcraft. It is a recreation of the Undead starting zone "Tirisfal Glades" from World of Warcraft (Classic/Vanilla). This release includes only the teaser level starting area. It’s meant to be part of a full campaign one day!

Overview:
"Forsaken" is a custom modded campaign set in the universe of Warcraft. It is a recreation of the Undead starting zone "Tirisfal Glades" from World of Warcraft (Classic/Vanilla). This release includes only the teaser level “Deathknell” region. It’s meant to be part of a full campaign one day!
Installation: Use a mod manager or manually place the .pak file in your mod folder (Typically AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods)

Q&A:
Q: How do I start the mod?
A: Simply start a new game from the main menu with the mod enabled. It will start the new campaign after character creation!
Q: Is it compatible with Patch 8?
A: Yes. The newest version has been updated for Patch 8 (with the previous Patch 7 version still available)
Q: What is the idea behind the mod?
A: The mod lets players experience the world and story of the Undead starting zone, “Tirisfal Glades”, from World of Warcraft (Classic/Vanilla).
Q: Is it a 1:1 recreation?
A: No. Being such different games, the approach to encounters, quests, loot, and more had to be adapted to Baldur’s Gate 3 systems.
Q: Does it include voice acting and cutscenes like BG3?
A: Not yet. It’s extremely low on the priority list and may never happen.
Q: Will it come to consoles?
A: Not possible, unfortunately!
Q: Will it work with other mods?
A: Depends entirely on the mod. Most should work, but any mods that require you to interact with BG3 characters or locations likely won't.
Q: Does it work with Multiplayer?
A: Yes. Ensure all players have the mod active.
Q: Do I need to start a new character?
A: Yes! And I highly suggest customizing them to resemble an Undead :) Otherwise, you might feel a little… out of place…That being said, I’m not here to tell anyone how to play! You also don't need to customize a Guardian, as they will not appear in this campaign.
Q: Does it include new companions and followers?
A: No! It’s meant to be played solo, with friends, or using the hireling system.
Q: Where do I get hirelings?
A: Click the sarcophagus in the Shadow Grave (starting room of the mod).
Q: Why release only a teaser instead of waiting for it to be done?
A: I want to gauge player interest in the setting and this style of campaign before investing more time into the project.
Q: Will the teaser get updates?
A: It will be updated for Patch 8. Beyond that, I want to add and fix the items listed under “Planned Features” in the coming months but some may be put off until the full release.
Q: What is planned for the full campaign?
A: The rest of Tirisfal Glades and its locations, quests, encounters, and more. The teaser only includes about 1/8th of the first zone. The next major release will include all of Tirisfal Glades as “Act 1”. There are plans beyond that, but none that I'm ready to share :)
Q: Is there a release date for the full campaign?
A: No. I have another major campaign mod in the works (The Act Two Expansion) that I plan to finish and release first before doing any more work on this project.
Known Bugs:
- Quest Reward options not all appearing
- Some dialogue spaghetti and repeated phrases/questions
- Region Map is fully explored upon loading in (No shroud/Fog of War)
- Night Web's Hollow mine walls show ranged attack indicators can pass through them when they actually cannot. Don't trust them.
- Night Web's Hollow camera out-of-bounds not obscured. WIP.
