Book of the Fallen:
1.Restore missing spells for the selected character.
2.Customize Spell 1: Soul Absorption by selecting which passives it can absorb.
3.Toggle Passive Spell: Soul Bestowal (default: disabled).Disabling it erases all acquired status records, affecting Spell 2: Soul Dissipation and Spell 3: Soul Reforge.
4.Toggle Tag absorption for Soul Absorption (default: disabled).Disabling it removes all previously absorbed Tags.
You can now check the status bar to see the current state of:
Tag absorption for Soul Absorption (default: disabled).
Passive Spell: Soul Bestowal (default: disabled).
Spell 1: Soul Absorption
Extract passives from corpses or equipment:
Cast on a corpse → Absorb(Copy) all its passives onto yourself.
Cast on yourself → Two effects:
Absorb(Copy) passives from your equipped gear onto yourself.
Copy your absorbed passives onto your currently equipped gear.
Example:
To apply a passive from Equipment A to Equipment B:
First Equip A → Cast Soul Absorption on yourself to copy A’s passive onto yourself.
Then Equip B → Cast Soul Absorption on yourself again to copy your absorbed passive onto B.
Passives are duplicated, not removed from the original source.
How to check if you have absorbed a passive or tag?
Right-click your character → "Examine" to view applied passives and tags.

Click here to see obtainable passives.
Some passives may not work due to:
1.Mechanical restrictions (e.g., requiring specific triggers or character tags).
2.Exclusive conditions (e.g., designed for certain characters or gear).
3.Hardcoded mechanics that prevent use outside their original scope.
Spell 2: Soul Dissipation
Temporarily removes a permanent status gained from Soul Bestowal. Useful for disabling effects that cause NPC hostility.
Please make sure that 'Soul Bestowal' is enabled in the settings, as 'Soul Dissipation' is linked to it and can only remove status obtained through 'Soul Bestowal.' Additionally, if you received a statusA through 'Soul Bestowal' and then later disabled 'Soul Bestowal' in the settings, this will also erase the history of statusA you’ve gained. As a result, that statusA will no longer be considered as obtained through 'Soul Bestowal,' and 'Soul Dissipation' will not remove it.
Spell 3: Soul Reforge
Restores a suppressed status previously gained from Soul Bestowal.
Passive Spell: Soul Bestowal
After killing enemies, choose 1 of 3 random permanent statuses. The status remains unless removed by another spell.
Click here to view obtainable statuses.
How many enemies do you need to kill to obtain a permanent status?
Summoned creatures don’t count. The number of kills required scales with enemy level:Lv.1 enemies → 30 kills (30 points).
Below is the point system based on enemy levels:
Normal Enemies (Level 1-11+)
1 / 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.7 / 2.0 / 2.3 / 2.7 / 3.1 / 3.5 / 4 / 5 / 6
Boss Enemies (Grouped by Level Ranges)
(1-3) →7 points (4-6) → 10 points (7-9) → 15 points (9+) → 25 points
Let me know if the status acquisition speed and kill progression curve feel balanced. Your input will help refine the mod—thank you!
Spell 4: Soul Mirage New!
Take on the appearance of a corpse, while retaining your own abilities.
Spell 5: Soul Mirage End New!
Dispel the illusion and return to your original appearance.
Some NPCs may react differently depending on your appearance.
Disguising as certain entities may grant unique interactions.
Balance & Restrictions
ALL (Base Version) - Includes all passives except debuffs. Customizable via Book of the Fallen.
Hard - Same as ALL, but Enemy HP scales from 800% to 2120% (Consider strategy over brute force!).Let me know if the difficulty feels right!
Status effects remain the same across all versions.
Balance Tip: This mod significantly impacts gameplay—using an Enemy HP multiplier mod (500%+) is highly recommended.
Additional
In the future, I will be adding the following features to enhance this mod:
- Debuff statuses with trade-offs, added to the random selection pool—each comes with an unexpected benefit.
- New VFX & icons to enhance visual clarity and uniqueness.
