In combat, objects are not highlighted. Highlighting duration reduced to 2 seconds.

Containers are unlocked if necessary but not opened to prevent crime. All homing weapons will return to their thrower.
Version 4.2.1.42
A one-time question will be asked to determine whether you want to use highlighting objects or none. This setting will remain active until a new game is started.
Version 4.2.1.38
Spells are now class actions and can always be cast. Optimized ground item loot speed.
Version 4.2.1.34
Fixed: Loot Ground will only loot lootable items and ingredients, excluding junk.

Fixes: Effects sometimes not clearing properly. Backpack weight updates correctly. Heavy armor can now be looted. Homing weapons return to the thrower.
Version 4.2.1.0
Loot Ground now loots all movable objects that are not fixed to the ground, placing them in the appropriate backpack. Manual Pickup also places objects in the correct backpack. Changed Effects: Containers now highlight for a few seconds—blue when not empty and green when empty. Adjusted Spell Effects to be less dramatic.
Version 4.2.0.84
Added Spell Loot Ground: will loot potions, camp supplies, alchemy ingredients, keys, books, and weapons directly to the caster's inventory. Changed the background color of the Pickpocket icon.

Version 4.2.0.76
New Feature: You can destroy containers and collect their loot. Have fun with a bit of vandalism—go ahead and destroy everything you can!
Version 4.2.0.72

Version 4.2.0.50
Status Circle: 4-second cooldown upon entering the aura or changing state. Improved rarity check. Minor optimizations.
Version 4.2.0.40
Added spell 'Pickpocket': Loots a single non-dead, non-ally character within an 18-foot radius.
Version 4.2.0.26
Make backpack icons more visible. Correct misspellings. Remove the "Backpacks auto-add to bottom row" feature, as it will overwrite game settings.
Version 4.2.0.16
Fixes: "If a Loot Master backpack was dropped in a region and you left the region, a new Loot Master backpack would be created. The same occurred when teleporting to another region. Change: Loot Master backpacks can no longer be looted or selected for looting."
Version 4.2.0.6
Fixed a nasty bug where hard-looted items couldn't be sold to a vendor. Changed backpacks to Story Items to prevent them from being sold.
Version 4.2.0.0
Rewritten for more optimized and simplified code. Added a third unique backpack (Story Items and Keys). Manual looting now updates the object status to "Looted" or "Empty." Status circles are hidden during cutscenes. Various small fixes and enhancements. New icons for backpacks.
Version 4.1.0.0
Changes: Status Circle Colors: Green = Inventory Empty, Blue = Ready to Loot. No Auto-Looting of Corpses: Prevents losing conditions like Hide and allows for a more satisfying bulk loot after combat. Container Looting: Containers with vanity clothes will now be looted. Fixes: Save Loading: After loading a save, objects within the caster's radius now display the correct status circle colors. Party Movement: Status circles now correctly follow the character when moving the party.
Version 4.0.0.26
Reduced crime range for looting, stealing, and trap disarming. Improved loot from diseased corpses. Minor fixes and enhancements.
Version 4.0.0.22

Looting now only works on objects within the line of sight, preventing looting through walls or secret chambers to avoid breaking quests. Corpses that receive treasure upon death will now be automatically looted. You can now cast and move at the same time (useful if you're in a hurry). Backpacks are now marked with 'R' for Rares and 'C' for Commons and are classified as Legendary. Looting radius extended to 24 feet.
Version 4.0.0.19
Fixed issue with unlocking and opening containers. Containers now show their status when unlocked or when traps are disarmed. Empty containers and corpses are now marked with a yellow magic circle. Looting objects is now possible while standing on high ground.
Version 4.0.0.17
Added Rare’s Backpack for all items above Common rarity; all other items will go to the Commons Backpack. Moved the Spell: Loot All outside the spell container for faster access. Improved looting speed when dealing with multiple containers.
