Well not any more!
This mod adds 10 new spells to the Call Your Allies spell, one for each recruitable companion. These spells will summon your actual companions, so make sure anyone you wish to summon is geared up, leveled, and ready to go. Just like any other ally you have gathered to your side, only one party member can summon any given companion during combat.
If a companion summoned this way dies, they cannot be summoned again for the battle (though they will be resurrected in time for the Epilogue).
- Astarion: Cazador must be dealt with, and a choice made regarding the fate of the spawns.
- Gale: As Gale's story quest can't be completed until the final battle, you need only have read the Annals of Karsus in order to summon him.
- Halsin: You must have lifted the Shadowcurse.
- Jaheira: You must have saved and recruited Minsc, and Jaheira must have survived the encounter with the Murder Tribunal.
- Karlach: You must have either upgraded her heart twice, or have helped her get her revenge on Gortash.
- Lae'zel: As Lae'zel's story quest can't be completed until after the final battle, you need to have either sided and freed Orpheus if she has turned against Vlaakith, or allowed the Emperor to assimilate Orpheus if she remained loyal.
- Minsc: You must have resolved the Aid the Underduke quest - which means bringing Minsc and talking to to Nine Fingers Keene or the Zhentarim leader after the battle in the thieves' guild.
- Minthara: You must have saved her in Moonrise towers.
- Shadowheart: You must have decided the fate of her parents.
- Wyll: You must have sought out Ansur, and helped Wyll choose his destiny.
When summoned, the companion will be added as a follower, meaning their inventory cannot be accessed. If using MCM for settings, these settings must be chosen before teleporting to High Hall.
Call Your Companions is compatible with Call Forth Allies Use Cost Change, if you want to change the use cost of the spells; and Alfira Joins The Party, allowing you to summon the companion Alfira like the others.
