Rogue Tattoo will support the following vanilla Baldur’s Gate 3 races by default:
✦ Dwarf
✦ Drow
✦ Elf
✦ Gnome
✦ Half-Elf
✦ Halfling
✦ Half-Orc
✦ Human
✦ Tiefling
What is a Tattoo Atlas?

In simple terms, it is a collection of visuals converted into a single DDS file. In this case, they hold all of the tattoo designs that are designed to be compatible with the body they are assigned to. They’re used so that the player can switch between them or a developer can switch between them to set them to the character preset. This is how Larian allows the NPC to have tattoos or body markings. The Gith have it enabled, which is how they have the spots on their body. Their face doesn't do this, so that's why you can use face tattoos with the Gith, but the body tattoo version overwrites their speckled body marks, sadly.
HOW TO USE

2✦ Select Sorcerer and then select Draconic Bloodline subclass.

3✦ Go to Draconic Bloodline selector in Edit Character and select whatever tattoo you want. There is a no Tattoo option for those who don’t want a body tattoo.
- This overhauls the Scales option and will remove the scales unless you select Default Appearance.
- I’m making a small mod that adds Draconic Scales as scars so you can still select them if you wish to be a Draconic Bloodline Sorc and have the Body Tattoos.

4✦ After you’ve selected your body tattoo, you can now play as any other Class or Subclass; the body tattoo will remain so long as you don’t select default appearance.
- If you wish to change the body tattoo later after playing, you will likely need to Respec into a Draconic Sorc before you can change the tattoo again.

Vanilla TattooAtlas

Regarding the following tattoos situation/condition:
Body Tattoo 6 is just Gale's marking on his chest, so you won’t see it without clothes that reveal the chest area or if you're running around naked.
Body Tattoo 7 is just a bunch of tiny dots. Not sure if it’s meant to be freckles.
Body Tattoo 8 just looks speckled, and on one side, it is just smudged.
Body Tattoo 11 works, but it’s just a claw mark on the right side of the chest and a gash across the stomach. Nothing is on the arms; the only way you will see this is if you remove your clothes or have a topless outfit.
Body Tattoo 13 is just smudges and speckled body again, just like Body Tattoo 8 for the most part.
Body Tattoo 14 is scaled, so it works for PC’s that you wish to have an aquatic-like body.
Body Tattoo 15 is only viewable on the collar bones and under the breast and upper stomach area of the body.
Body Tattoo 16 & 17 are the same thing on this Atlas, with 16 having a back design and 17 not having a back design.
Prime Body Tattoos (ALL): Darker and slightly more pronounced lines, giving the tattoos a more recently done aesthetic. Covered the ones that didn't have issues.
➳ This utilizes the vanilla TattooAtlas for the body. If that atlas is changed, the results for the body tattoo will likely be different from those described above, aside from the Prime Body Tattoo causing whatever body tattoo to look more recent or fresh.
➳ Current available colors are so that they can match the vanilla face tattoo colors.
➳ If using Fantastical Multiverse 1.9+, you won't need this for non-Vanilla races, as this feature is built into Fantastical Multiverse and will be provided with Fantastical Multiverse. For this reason, Fantastical Multiverse won't be needing a patch for this mod.
KNOWN ISSUES & FAQ

🚩I’m aware that body tattoos don’t have icons. It’s just the default question marks. This will likely remain this way forever. Unlike Horns, Heads, Tails, Beards & Hairs, there isn’t a way to add CC options for Makeup, Face Tattoos, & Passives individually. I'd need to overhaul/replace the generated Icons for character creation, which would conflict with other mods that do the same or replace their CC replacer. I have no desire to conflict so the text and question mark icons will remain. In addition, if I added icons, but another mod developer changed the TattooAtlas, the icons would not match the body tattoos/markings. So, I've settled with the question marks.
🚩If you switch your race while already a draconic sorcerer, the Draconic Bloodline selector won’t update in the cosmetic section; instead, it will still show the vanilla scale options. The way to fix this is by changing your subclass or class and then reselecting the Draconic Bloodline subclass. This will update the list in Draconic Bloodline to display the overhaul instead.
🚩The list doesn't show on modded races. This is because the modded species don't have the appropriate setup that needs to be added to the progression and default values. This is a framework mod. It won't add that support by default. If given permission and I feel like doing so, I can add the support, or they can make a patch for this mod that adds support to that modded race if they prefer to do it on their own.
