Evoker ClassThe "Evoker of WoW" mod for Baldur's Gate 3 introduces a new class inspired by the Evokers from World of Warcraft, combining draconic magic and versatile abilities.
Class Overview: Evoker
The Evoker is a hybrid class blending magical damage and support. It harnesses the power of dragons and masters two specializations:

Devastation 
: Manipulates Fire and Cold magic to deal heavy damage.

Preservation
: Uses the magic of the Emerald Dream to protect and heal allies.

Augmentation (Work in Progress): Empowers allies with draconic magic, increasing their combat effectiveness through buffs and enhancements.

 
Primary Attributes
  • Intelligence (Primary): Determines spell power, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Constitution (Secondary): Increases survivability, ensuring the Evoker can endure longer in battle.
 
Gameplay Mechanics
  • New Resource - Essence: Certain spells consume this unique resource, which regenerates only after a rest, forcing players to manage their Essence pool strategically.
  • Over 20 New Spells: The mod introduces over 20 new spells to the Evoker class. These spells expand the Evoker’s magical arsenal, offering powerful abilities that can deal devastating damage, provide vital support, or change the course of battle in creative ways.
  • 50+ New Passive Abilities: There are 50+ new passive abilities integrated into the mod. These passives enhance the Evoker's gameplay, granting powerful buffs, unique effects, and synergies, making for a dynamic and strategic experience.

Essence Spells 
 
1. Disintegrate 
  • Essence Cost: 2
  • Effect:
    • Deals 2d4 Cold damage over 2 turns (1d4 per turn).
    • Reduces the target’s movement speed by 50% for 2 turns.
  • Damage Type: Cold
2. Emerald Blossom
  • Essence Cost: 3
  • Effect:
    • Grow a bulb from the Emerald Dream at your location.
    • After 2 turns, it heals all allies within 8m for 2 × Intelligence Modifier.
    • This effect does not stack
3. Eruption
  • Essence Cost: 4
  • Effect:
    • Cause a violent eruption beneath an enemy’s feet, dealing 4d8 Fire damage in a 4m radius.
  • Damage Type: Fire
4. Pyre 
  • Essence Cost: 3
  • Effect:
    • Unleashes a wave of flames, dealing 3d6 Fire damage in a 6m cone.
  • Damage Type: Fire
5. Echo
  • Essence Cost: 4
  • Effect:
    • Wrap an ally in temporal energy, healing them for LevelMapValue(D6Cantrip).
    • The next non-Echo healing spell cast on this ally will trigger an additional cast at 70% of the normal healing.
  • Duration: 2 turns
  • Additional Effect: This effect only applies once and does not stack.
 

 
Work in Progress:
I am currently working on several exciting updates and improvements for the Evoker Class mod:

Draconic Female Form
I am in the process of creating a distinct female draconic form to enhance the visual representation of the Evoker class. This will offer a mor* immersive and diverse appearance for players who choose to embody the power of dragons in a female form, alongside the current male version.

New Subclass: Augmentation
I am developing a third subclass: Augmentation. This specialization will focus on empowering allies through magical enhancements, increasing their combat effectiveness, and providing unique buffs to strengthen the group’s overall performance. Expect a variety of abilities that boost physical and magical attributes of party members, alongside exciting new mechanics.

New Animations and Spell Effects
I am refining and expanding the animations and spell effects to make the Evoker’s abilities even more dynamic and visually stunning. This includes improved visual effects for elemental spells and draconic transformations, adding flair and uniqueness to each spellcasting action.

Passive Abilities
Additional passive abilities are being developed to further enhance the class's playstyle. These passives will tie into the Draconic Affinity and Augmentation sub-classes, granting unique bonuses that cater to both offensive and defensive strategies, as well as expanding on the resource management system with Essence.
