Sickles can be found in the sarcophagus in the trap room in the first act or in Tut Chest (not recommended). Enjoy!

A weapon inspired by Gutaro's battle against the hunters from “Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba)”.
The original idea was to recreate the skillset that Gyutaro had and implement it through the sickles. However, as the sickles became new mechanics, they became their independent weapon with their own gameplay.

I wanted more gameplay in combat. I wanted the weapon to influence the style of the game, not just be a strong club. In BG3 I often lacked dynamics in battles. I wanted to make something that would speed up gameplay but not become something cheating and unbalanced (I'm still working on the balance and hope for your feedback).

Variability. People love experimentation. And everyone has different tastes. So my sickles are made with the expectation that they can be combined with many classes and subclasses. Even though BG3 was never about balance, I still wanted it to be an interesting gameplay item first and foremost. Solo honour mode players or those who like to play from mechanics will have something to think about.

The two main features of sickles are: you can't regenerate health during combat and you take damage every time you deal damage with this weapon. You won't be completely unprotected and under certain conditions you will be able to regenerate resources in combat. However, you will need to be tactical and use your mobility wisely, because you will pay for everything with your health.

  • As long as you hold this weapon, you take damage from the melee damage dealt by this weapon.

  • You can't Regain Hit Points in battle if only U not Downed, Kills or after Bloodcovered.

  • When U in battle and start turn on Blood Surface - U gain 20% of your Max Health to Temporary hit points.

  • Heals you after battle if U end it Downed.

  • After you kill an enemy, next time when you reach 0 hit points, Your body will be Blood Covered for a few turns instead of becoming Downed. In this state, you cannot perform any actions or be healed. However, you are immune to all damage until the condition passes. When its ends, you will regain HP and return to combat.

  • You can't be Frightened, and cannot be afflicted with other emotion-altering conditions.

  • Your attacks poison the target and deal damage each turn.

  • When killing an enemy gain temporary hit points or heal U.

  • Hunger gives you access to Slice Minions and Shield of Blood actions.

  • Kill Score gives you access to Blood Charger

  • Сharge forward and slam your weapon into the all enemy in your way. And if U Lucky - do it again.

  • Swing your weapon in a large arc to attack enemies dealing additional poison damage.

  • Do damage to yourself in exchange for power.

  • Curses the target, making it vulnerable to several types of damage. Half of the target's damage will be dealt to you.

  • Cover yourself with Blood Shield which will reduce the amount of damage you take.

  • Teleport into the blood and heal.

Q/A.

Q: Is it balanced?
A: Hope so. I'm working on balance, but many mechanics overlap and complement other game mechanics, which sometimes creates unpredictable results, sometimes making it easier to get through and sometimes making it harder. I have a lot of questions about the late game in particular, as it's quite difficult for me to test all possible situations. I'm looking forward to your feedback.

Q: For Solo Honour Mode?
A: Hope so. I admit that for those who give out 400+ DPS per hit, the battle could end badly. I'm not well-versed enough in the specifics of BG3's mechanics to go solo. So if someone will pass the game in this mode with my sickles - I will be grateful if will leave their impressions and wishes.

Q: Any Issues?
A:
  • On rare occasions, turning into a meat body does not work. I have not yet been able to catch the conditions for this moment, but it happens extremely rarely and should not interfere with the passage.
  • Sometimes there is a visual bug, the icons of skills access to which gives Blood Hunger does not immediately become “unavailable” if the level of Hunger is low. But with the next action all synchronized.

Hope you enjoy it! Feel free to leave your feedback.
also Endorse if U like it ;)
