About this mod
A monk that uses magic-imbued physical attacks and defense. This mod delivers the Weave Monk both as a subclass to the default Monk class, as well as its own stand-alone class with four distinct subclasses. Progressions to level 20.

Weave Monk Class
The idea is to have a fun magic-infused monk that still engages mostly in melee but has enhanced powers, especially for their unarmed attacks. There are (currently) four subclasses which are partitioned into related magic/damage types, and that could also mean opposite types (e.g. Radiant/Necrotic).
Subclasses
Way of Samsara - This subclass focuses on dealing Radiant and Necrotic damage which it draws from the weave through the continuous cycle of life and death.
Way of Mo'Verdine - This subclass draws power from the flow of the elements of the earth, wind and fire through weave. These monks use their ki to control these energies to imbue their attacks and bolster their defenses.
Way of Eldritch Magic - This subclass captures the haunting and mysterious powers of the weave and enhances their techniques with force and psychic magic.
Way of the Storm Rider - This subclass draws on the elemental energies the power the raging tempest, dealing thunder, lightning and cold damage across a variety of techniques.
Passives
Weave Arts: Agonizing Strikes - Adds Wisdom modifer of Force damage to unarmed attacks
Weave Arts: Swift Strikes - Adds Wisdom + Dexterity modifers of Force damage to unarmed attacks
Weave Arts: Braiding - Allows you to harness damage taken of a specific type that can be unleashed on multiple targets as a separate action. Stacks up to 3x.
Weave Arts: Retribution - Upon taking damage of a specific type, you automatically reflect its reciprocal type back on the attacker.
Weave Arts: Coalesce Braids - Focus your ki and use the weave to amplify the braided energy you've harnessed, doubling the damage when released.
Weave Arts: Ply-Split Braids - You are able to force your ki through the braided energy, unraveling braided magic into additional strands and increasing damage.
Weave Arts: Penitence - You sacrifice part of yourself and take one type of magical damage in order to empower your unarmed attacks with the reciprocal energy type, amplifying it even further.
Weave Arts: Attunement - Grants you advantage when attacking beings aligned with certain magical energies and their disadvantage when attacking you.
Weave Arts: Deeper Attunement - Grants you resistence and +1 AC when being attacked by beings aligned with certain magical energies.
Weave Arts: Fundamental Attunement - Grants you immunity to certain status effects and add your wisdom modifier to your AC when being attacked by beings aligned with certain magical energies.
Weave Arts: Enlightened Attunement - Grants you immunity to certain damage types and add your constitution modifier to your AC when being attacked by beings aligned with certain magical energies.
Class Actions
Weave Arts: Abduction - Submit an enemy and pull them through a weave portal, inflicting multiple types of magic damage and teleporting you both up to 10m.
Weave Arts: Ki Strikes - Infuse your specialized magical energy into an unarmed attack, inflicting status effects and adding magical damage on top of unarmed damage.
Weave Arts: Ki Pulse - Bind your ki to the weave and unleash a concentrated blast of magical energy into everything within 4m.
Weave Arts: Ki Armor - Infuse your body with ki and deal 1d10 Force damage to any create that hits you with a melee attack.
Randori - Attack up to 3 targets in 180 degree arc, dealing an additional 1d4 Force damage and possibly Disarming them.
Advanced Randori - Attack up to 4 targets in 270 degree arc, dealing an additional 1d6 Force damage and possibly Disarming them.
Randori Mastery - Attack up to 5 targets in full circle, dealing an additional 1d8 Force damage and possibly Disarming them.
Holy Hands - Channel your ki into a holy strike and possibly Blind and Turn your target. Additional 1d6 + Wisdom Radiant
Mind Blast - Same as base Illithid spell. 2d6 + Wisdom Psychic + Stun
Sweaty Palms - A soaking unarmed attack that drenches your enemy and creates a water surface.
Cold Snap - A freezing unarmed attack that deals an additional 1d4 Cold damage and creates a icy surface.
Thunder Clap - A earsplitting unarmed attack dealing an additional 1d6 Thunder damage that knocks your opponent back.
Throw Sparks - An unarmed assault dealing lightning damage that branches out to nearby enemies, inflicting 1d8 Lightning to each hit.
Tormenting Blast - Violently wrench eldritch magic from the weave into a beam of torturous energy.
Wrathful Strike - Channel your ki into a menacing strike and possibly Frighten your target. They'll have Disadvantage on Ability Checks and Attack Rolls and be unable to move.
Hateful Strike - Channel your ki into a menacing strike and possibly Frighten and Stun your target. They'll have Disadvantage on Ability Checks and Attack Rolls and be unable to move.
Dreadful Blast - Violently wrench eldritch magic from the weave into a double beam of torturous energy.
Torturous Blast - Violently wrench eldritch magic from the weave into a triple beam of torturous energy.
Withering Hands - Channel ki from the other side into a deadly strike and possibly inflict Necrotic Infection on your target. They'll take additional 1d4 Necrotic damage per turn.
Decaying Hands - Channel ki from the other side into a deadly strike and possibly inflict Necrotic Decay on your target. They'll take additional 1d6 Necrotic damage per turn.
Rotting Hands - Channel ki from the other side into a deadly strike and possibly inflict Necrotic Rot on your target. They'll take additional 1d8 Necrotic damage per turn.
Weave Skin: Bark - Same as Barkskin
Weave Skin: Stone - Same as Stoneskin
Weave Skin: Crystal - Same as Crystalskin
Exhale Frost - Channeling your ki you expel a flurry of frost, crisp air, and condensed snow crystals (180 degrees). 3d6 + Wisdom Cold
Exhale Frost 2 - Channeling your ki you expel a flurry of frost, crisp air, and condensed snow crystals (360 degrees). 6d6 + Wisdom Cold
Cloud of Magma - Conjure a cloud of spinning boulders of magma that hit anyone inside. 2d6 Bludgeoning + 3d6 Fire

Monk Subclass
Standard subclass of the default Monk class, selectable at level 3. While this version does not provide all of the features and spells of the stand-alone version it does allow you to mix and match the abilities and spells of the weave schools as you progress.

Disclaimers & Credits
This is my first mod and mostly just wanted to figure out how the toolkit and its systems worked. I really like playing monks during my play-throughs and tried a handful of different mods that introduce new subclasses. I wanted to try to mix more magic into the class but as melee options. I haven't really play-tested this so I have no idea how the skills scale in-game. Also, there's still oddities I haven't figured out like why some actions show up as spells and others do not.
The class and spell icons are all over the place, most are generated with either Gemini or Craiyon and edited with GIMP, some are just recycled from the base game. I may try to normalize these at some point. Some suck. Some are kinda cool. None match. Whatever.
I didn't duplicate all the details and damage output for all actions and spells here. Many scale like cantrips.
