Update!

By request I made a few new versions to choose from. Here are the options:
Colours: Gold / Silver
Styles: Classic (lobe piercing and helix on his left ear only) / Asymmetric (lobe piercing on both ears, and helix on his left)
Slots: Head / Underwear
I left the head slot items available in case you want them, but now there is also underwear slots, which mean they'll stay visible at all times! However, if for some reason you want to only use the head slot items, remember to make sure to set Astarion's headwear to Show Helmet (not Hide In Cutscenes) so that they're visible in cutscenes too. You can have both a head slot and an underwear slot item equipped at the same time, but I recommend only using one or the other.

Screenshots are using the gold asymmetric version, as that's the one I play with myself. Scroll down to the user submitted images to see some screenies of the other types!

I was scrolling tiktok, as you do, and saw Astarion's VA Neil Newbon rocking these super cute hoop earrings, so here we are. This adds a new headpiece that Astarion can wear to give him little hoops on his left ear, in a shiny gold to match the rest of his beautifully sophisticated ensemble.

Given that they're a headpiece, they can technically be worn by anyone, but they only have a visual appearance for the male human body type, and are shaped to fit Astarion's ears. Unfortunately, this also means they'll disappear when Astarion is in his camp clothes; I'm unsure how to efficiently get around this, so if anyone has any ideas, drop a comment. Ya girl's got a big brain, download ver 2.

Stat-wise, I mostly made these for aesthetics, so they might not be ideal for a difficult playthrough.

Installation:
Use the BG3 Mod Manager to install and add to your load order. I'm not familiar with manual installation so I recommend using this method.

For manual installation, here is the info needed for modsettings.lsx (thanks xamorius):

<node id="ModuleShortDesc">
              <attribute id="Folder" value="Ast_Ear" type="LSString" />
              <attribute id="MD5" value="" type="LSString" />
              <attribute id="Name" value="Astarion's Earring" type="LSString" />
              <attribute id="UUID" value="526316d8-21f9-48e9-b605-affbe34c30bb" type="FixedString" />
              <attribute id="Version64" value="144115188075855912" type="int64" />
            </node>

How to obtain:

These are stored in the tutorial chest on the Nautiloid, so if you've already passed that point in the game, use this mod to grab them.
Or purchase them from Arron in the Druid's Grove during act 1 or 2 (if they don't appear in his inventory, long rest and it will refresh. Thanks MMaya!)
