About this mod
Tactician is too easy for you? Death March aims to increase the difficulty of almost all combat encounters by adding new enemies, buffing them, expading their skillsets as well as adding completely new enemy types to challenge you. All changes are seamlessly integrated by going over each fight by hand.

At least for the time being.
Unfortunately I have stepped away from the BG3 modding, so there won't be any updates, not in the near future, at least. Although I plan to return to BG3 and Death March, it probably won't be soon. And when I do, I plan to finish it first and only then release it fully.
I apologize to those who were waiting for an update, it won't happen anytiem soon.
For example, goblins are supported by Chemists - a wannabe alchemists that use various bombs and infusions to buff their allies and hinder their enemies. Githyanki now have the aid of Arcanists and Magi, a more magically inclined fighters.
All of the existing enemies were reworked and upgraded in some way as well, with sometimes new/extra enemies added, making the combat encounters both more interesting and dangerous.
Many enemies now also have new and unique to them skills, as well as default statuses that they "precast". No longer will enemy mages spend their first turn casting Mage Armor.
Bosses should be actually challenging now, minibosses included. Consider fighting them for the experience (or suffering) they offer.
This mod aims to increase the difficulty of the fights, but not to make them insurmountably difficult. Strategy and positioning will matter more, while just walking into what you know to be a difficult encounter will be punished. With all that said, there's still nothing stopping you from using expert barrelmancy to defeat your enemies.
You will also be able to find some new items while adventuring and defeating enemies.
Most of them will be added in future updates, however you can find some of them now while exploring (that is to say, looting enemy corpses; they won't need them anymore).
Balanace Adjustments
A small number of balance adjustments. Only the most overpowered things were nerfed, though their extreme power may not be obvious. For example, Wet status no longer straight up doubles the damage of cold and lightning spells for no cost, while Transfuse health is no longer an infinite source of healing. Full list of changes can be found at the end of Notes section.
Level Curve Adjustments
With Death March, you receive more experience due to fighting more enemies and enemies of higher level than in vanilla. As such, you level up faster, which can deminish the challenge. This optional mod should fix that. You will reach level 5 as fast as in vanilla (or perhaps even a little faster), but past level 5 the levelling is a little slower.
Requires a New Game
This mod requires a new game to work correctly. You can install it on existing saves but some enemies may have incorrect stats, skills and levels. New enemies in already completed encounters will also be present and may work incorrectly.
There's no safe way to uninstall the mod. Once you started a playthrough with it, your saves are irreversibly changed, and if you try to load them without the mod your game will crash.
Updating the mod
When you update the mod, after loading the save you should change the game's difficulty to Normal, wait for about 10 seconds, and then change it back to Tactician. This will update enemies' health.
Please note, that while updating the mod does not require a new game, without it small things might be missing, such as enemy statuses or not all enemies having the same combat group. This is by no means a big problem however, everything should work.
Work in progress
Please note that the mod is still very much in development. Future updates will update more areas. Currently implemented areas are:
Entirety of Act 1
Part of Act 2 (everything besides Mausoleum and Moonrise Towers)
Feedback
As the mod is still in development and many fights are subject to change, feedback is welcome - both on existing changes and possibly new ones.
Compatibility
Keep in mind that many enemies have tailored skillsets that may break by adding random spells/actions to them via other combat modes. Or, more likely, they just won't use the new ones due to skill priority Death March utilizes.
You generally shouldn't use this mod with other mods that change enemies, as I cannot guarantee compatibility. Mods that only change AI should be fine - provided they change AI and AI only. Mods that change flat bonuses provided by difficulty are compatible. All other mods should be compatible.
For maximum compatiblity, load my mod after all other mods that change enemies or combat.
Possibly known incompatibilities: Lethal AI - may or may not cause crashes with new (and old) enemies.
Installation & Requirments
This mod requires Honour Features Unlocker or playing on Honour difficulty.
This mod requires Script Extender to work. Install it with BG3 Mod Manager.
List of balance changes
Wet: now increases cold/lightning damage taken by 1.5, but is limited to providing up to 8 bonus damage. Also slightly reduces fire damage taken at the cost of its duration.
Transufe health: its healing/damage is no longer affected by any modifiers, i.e. a 16 health character using it will take 8 damage ignoring any DR and restore 8 health, ignoring any healing bonuses and without triggering any on-heal effects.
Globe of Invulnerability: now creatures protected by it are unaffected by spells of 3rd level or lower that are cast outside of it.
