If the mod isn't working after the updates, uninstall and reinstall the mod and the dependencies. Make sure to install Baldur's Gate Script Extender with console, so that you can check if the mod is even loading. Make sure the mod appears in your modsettings file. If it doesn't appear in your modsettings file, move the mod a bit in your load order and save the load order until it does.
After the game launches, check Script Extender's console. You should be getting "Configuration for Mod Name" "#number of your mods mod configuration(s) loaded." Something like this:
Configuration for 'Oath_Spells': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua Configuration for 'Respec_Spell': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua Configuration for 'RichTraders': MinVersion 1; Feature flags: Lua 3 mod configuration(s) loaded.
If you don't see the mod's name in there, something is wrong on your end. Repeat the same steps. If you see any errors you can share them in your comment/bug report.
Having trouble getting this working in Patch 8. The mod is installed through BG3MM, it shows as installed in the in-game mod manager, and it's listed in both my modsettings file and the SE console. However the icon for the spell is missing. Any suggestions?
The mod should work fine, as should all of my mods since they are just script mods. The only way script mods are to stop working is when the game devs change function names (very unlikely to ever happen) or when script extender gets an update that changes its functionality. You are also not taking any risk on your save since the mod does nothing if you don't activate it (sneak and cast the spell). You can literally just make a save and test the mod. If everything is working fine then good, you can keep that save. If not then just delete that save and uninstall the mod.
Most probably not related to the mod if you can't do it with Withers either. The mod doesn't do anything to Wither's respec. Did you try uninstalling the mod and checking?
Yah, I've activated it that way but it immediately goes CTD when I cast it on my character. Did yours go through?
Edit: Reloaded it and tried it again and it worked. Think it must've been a conflict with another mod as I did a lot of purging of ones I don't *really* need. Thanks for getting me to try it again! :)

Edit: It doesn't look to me like the game had any other update after the 5th. So there's no reason for the mod and/or Script Extender to stop working.
If not is it possible to get a version that does?
That would be delightful!
