About this mod
This adds my personal homebrew to fix how two-weapon fighting is handled in 5e.
Update: 1.0 Removed the ability to use the offhand attack. The icon still appears, but you won't be able to use it.

Two-weapon fighting in 5e is very subpar, and I have noticed through the years that most players, including myself, simply avoid using two weapons. My homebrew is an attempt to fix this:
First, two-weapon fighting style. This no longer adds your ability modifier to the offhand attack. Instead, it allows you to both wield weapons that are not light and draw or stow both as part of the same action. (Functionally in BG3, all this does is let you wield weapons that are not light)
Second, when you take the attack action, you attack with both weapons as part of the same action. (works as intended, but looks slightly off in the animation currently. As if it's still rolling for both attacks)
Third, you no longer get a bonus action attack from wielding two weapons. (Currently, I could not figure out how to remove the icon, so I made it cost 10 bonus actions, making it unusable.)
Fourth, when you take the dual wielder feat, you get the +1 ac as usual, but now it allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the damage of your attacks.
In all this makes two-weapon fighting do more damage than great weapon fighting, however less damage, even with dual wielder feat, than great weapon master.
Known Issues:
When using 2-hand crossbows you add dexterity to both weapon attacks, which should not happen.
Icon for the offhand attack still appears, you won't be able to use it however, as I made it cost 10 bonus actions to use.
Main hand attack tooltip displays both weapons in the attack, but will not display proficiency bonus if you have Dual Wielder, it is still added to the damage of the roll for the offhand weapon.
MAJOR BUG:
It has come to my attention that things like hunter's mark and poison (which bg3 applies to both weapons when dual wielding) are allowing players to stack insane amounts of damage together, I'm looking into fixing this problem, but if you actually enjoy being broken overpowered using that combo then stick with the version 1.0 file after a new update releases.
Shout out to lostsoulman for giving me some ideas on how to fix issues in the mod!
