A conversion of the Pyromancer subclass for Sorcerer from the Plane Shift: Kaladesh book. I've reworked it slightly so you can choose what element you draw your magic from.

A conversion of the Pyromancer subclass for Sorcerer from the Plane Shift: Kaladesh book. I've reworked it slightly so you can choose what element you draw your magic from. Rather than being locked to the Fire effects that the Pyromancer subclass gives you, instead you can choose between any of the following Damage types to draw your magic from:
Acid
Cold
Fire
Force
Lightning
Necrotic
Poison
Psychic
Radiant
Thunder
Each of the abilities you gain will draw from the element you choose. There are some minor changes from the subclass as I had trouble with BG3's mechanics so those will be noted.
LEVEL 1
Heart Of Elemental Energy:
When you deal damage with a 1st level or higher spell corresponding to your chosen element, an eruption of magic blasts from you. Creatures within 10ft of you take an amount of damage equal to your Sorcerer Level, the damage type being the same as your chosen element.
(Changed from on cast to damage as BG3 would not read the condition for casting a spell determined by damage type.)
LEVEL 6
Elemental Veins:
You gain resistance to damage from your element. In addition, spells you cast ignore resistance to your element too.
LEVEL 14
Elemancer's Fury:
When you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal damage of your element to the attacker. The damage equals your sorcerer level.
LEVEL 18
Elemental Soul:
You gain immunity to damage from your element. In addition, spells you cast ignore immunity to your element too.
(Changed from treating immunity as a resistance to ignoring it since you already ignore resistance by level 6 anyway.)
