Replaces vanilla scars with less obtrusive options, inspired by the work of the now deleted profile of llizardaggerx, who made the original Faded Scars mod (now deleted).

Update 2.0: Have now included option to keep the illithid veins or remove them, choose between the two options in the download.
As part of making my Discreet Scars mod, I received permission from lizardaggerx to use the textures from their Faded Scars mod. Since then, lizardaggerx has deleted that mod and their profile, leaving those of us who prefer less red and raw scars with limited alternatives to the base game options.
Having seen a few requests for something like this, I decided to sit down and teach myself how to extract textures from the game files and mess around with the default scars in photoshop. This is the result. The scars are more faded than lizardaggerx's original mod because I wasn't able to replicate whatever technique they used, but the lighting in character creation screen where I took the screenshots doesn't do them all justice.
Credit to the now departed lizardaggerx for their original idea and to ShinyHobo over at github for making the extraction tools available (here).
