Changelogs
Version 1.1
Adjusted for weapons whose base version is not finesse but have had the property added (i.e. Phalar Aluve)
The game currently does not calculate the to-hit roll for a thrown finesse weapon the same way that the tabletop rules specify. That is, the thrower’s strength bonus is used regardless of weapon properties and dexterity score for the to-hit roll (correct stat used for damage though).
This mod correctly weighs the thrower’s stats and weapon properties when a finesse weapon is thrown to properly apply the better of Strength or Dexterity to the roll to hit. There some caveats however, the combat log will show it is applying the strength modifier but check the number added, if your dexterity modifier is higher than your strength's it will use the dex one. it works by briefly making your strength match your dex when the throw is made. Additionally, the to-hit will always be based on base strength, the script fires after the odds are fixed.
