This is a model-swap which adds knee protection to almost all of the Leather Armor seen in the game (which uses +1 & +2 models), not just the player's armor.

I have nothing against asymmetrical armor, so long as it does not defy common sense. It bothered me that the right knee-pad was missing from +1 Leather Armor. And +2 Leather Armor had no knee-pads at all! That hardly seemed like much of an upgrade to me. So I modified the models to include knee-pads. All races and body-types are supported. UV Maps on pants have also been corrected for both.
This mod is a MODEL-SWAP. Meaning: these models bear the exact same names and directory structure as those found in the base-game. They should* over-ride base-game files. Other than the meta.lsf, there is NO CODE involved. As such, there cannot be any compatibility issues with other mods, unless they-too are model-swaps of the exact same armors. Nor is there any risk to save files.
I say "should" because I can only be certain that this will happen when the relevant base-game files and directory structure are already unpacked. I have no way of testing what happens on a default install. Though, "worst-case", the base-game models, that are extracted upon loading the game, will simply over-ride these. If someone can let me know in the [Posts] section what happens when a default install loads with this mod installed, that would be great! Thanks.
Also, as these are model-swaps, I'm including an Optional File which will restore the original models. This is to ensure that this mod can always be fully reverted. Uninstalling the mod via a manager may or may-not be sufficient alone. If it's not, use your mod manager of choice to load the Optional File after fully uninstalling the Main File. Doing so will restore the original models.
