About this mod

This is an interchangeable set of armours with effects tailored to Astarion, making him much more effective in shadows, when using stealth, and when using piercing weapons. He also has a bite reaction to use in melee. Plus optional replacers for his default starting armour and camp clothing.

Changelogs
During the day, we have the advantage. But at night, when they hunt? You will not find a more deadly quarry.

The idea behind this mod is to give Astarion more spawnlike abilities via his armour: now he's acutely aware of his surroundings, has greater freedom of movement, and is harder to land a hit on, especially in the dark. Spawn are all about sharp things, so he has advantages when he uses any piercing weapons (melee, ranged and fangs). Speaking of fangs, he now gets to use them as a new reaction when he takes melee damage, instinctively biting at the foe that hurt him. Attacking from the shadows is far more beneficial to Astarion than before, so the body piece also adds a status icon when he's obscured.

The abilities are spread across all armour slots, but each piece works independently, so you don't need to use them all if you don't want to. There's a few versions for each slot, so you can change the appearance while keeping the same stats. Four of the body armours are converted camp clothing because if his starting outfit is padded armour, then these can be too. I switched the pants for three of them, because if anyone should get tight leather pants, it's Astarion. (I know you could just hide the armour behind camp clothing for the same effect, but I don't wanna, and you don't have to use them).

The first set of items (1c, 2a, 3a, 4a and 5a) are sold by Arron in Emerald Grove.
Everything else except the upper class items are looted from the Goblin Camp.
The upper class items (3c and 5c) are sold at Carm's Garm in Wyrm's Crossing.
I didn't give them to earlier traders because I just love the idea that when Astarion finally gets home, he can buy himself new clothing for the first time in 200 years.

There's a list of the items UIDs and UUIDs at the bottom of this page.

Tutorial Chest
Adds all the mod items to a backpack (UUID: bd1faec5-ab5a-4a67-9455-676005bde3ae) in the tutorial chest.
You can use Tutorial Chest Summoning to access the chest after the tutorial. Handy dandy.

Replacement Starting Armour

Three of the upper class armours using the colours from Astarion's original starting armour. They straight up replace the original with the same stats. See the images of him wearing them in his introduction cutscenes. Only have one of these active. Btw, they only replace the armour model, not the starting equipment files, so they shouldn't clash with any mods that do full loadout changes.

Replacement Camp Clothing
Changes the shirt part of Astarion's Eccentric Clothes (see camp screenshot). Can be used with or without Replacement Starting Armour.
