Modular Skirts Update 13/02/25

Modular Skirts is back, updated, and better than ever!

This mod has undergone a massive overhaul and now comes as an all-in-one download. I'm so grateful to everyone for your patience. Nearly all the original skirts are ready in this pack with two or three more to be added in an upcoming one.

ALL skirts are available for normal/muscley-sized body types - for humans, elfy races, githyanki, and tieflings - and in ALL body slots.

I entirely remade the mod in the toolkit with updated physics. This means the items have some slight changes that are further in line with my original vision, which was restricted by the limited access modders had to Larian's physics engine.

Even better, the old files are compatible, so feel free to keep any you like whilst having the all-in-one pack installed as well! These old files will be moved to optional files for now.

Part 1 includes the following skirts:
  • Jaheira's skirt and corset
  • Nightsong skirt
  • Hide skirts (including the +1 and +2 variations)
  • Myrkul skirt
  • Barbarian skirt (plus short and no tassles variations - because the tassels on the vanilla mesh don't fit properly)
  • Isobel's skirt
  • Nurse skirts (two variations - now without clipping with the apron version or AO shadows on the plain one)
  • Magical barbarian skirt
  • Bhaal skirt

Also included is a version with vendors (Arron at the Grove, Quartermaster Talli at Last Light Inn, and Danthelon in Wyrm's Crossing). Please note that the pak and the chest that spawns are big (without mods, you will become over-encumbered) and I wouldn't really recommend having it floating around in vendor's inventories for this reason alone, however, the option is there.

Please note there's a little clipping on some of the skirts, especially with underwear on. This is because the meshes were designed to mask the underwear and body parts underneath and I didn't want to do heavy edits for the scope of this mod.

Installation

To install, put the pak in the game's mod folder. Installation via BG3 Mod Manager is recommended. Items are found in the tutorial chest - you can use the 'summon tutorial chest mod' if you're past the nautiloid, or install the vendors version.

Uninstall

For best practice, do not try to uninstall any mods mid-playthrough unless you know what you're doing. Make sure any and all items from the mod are deleted from your/your party's/vendor's inventories, the camp chest, and the world in general. You can use this mod. If something isn't deleted, your save file will corrupt. Then, simply delete the pak from your mods folder and update with BG3 MM.

FAQ

Why the all-in-one pak all of a sudden and no individual paks? Didn't you prefer the individual ones?

Yes, for manual modding making individual paks was easier to work with. When using the toolkit, I found it easier to make larger paks. I will make my mods however I best enjoy making them. That said, I didn't want the pak to be too big (it would also take me forever to make), which is why I've opted for a four-part series.

I have a skirt request!

You can see a list of skirts I have planned here. If your idea isn't listed, please drop it in the comments or a DM! I'm happy to consider requests for this mod. Please note that commissioned mods take precedence, however, so I can't give a time limit.

What about the short races or compatibility with xyc body mod?

Unfortunately, I don't have the time or brain juice to add even more body types.

Mod.io version?
