Changelogs
Overhauls Charger to match the DND 5R rules, in the 2024 Player's Handbook:
Charger:
- Ability Score: Increase: Increase your Strength or Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Improved Dash: When you take the Dash action, your Speed increases by 3 meters (10 feet) for that action.
- Charge Attack: If you move at least 3 meters (10 feet) in a straight line toward a target immediately before hitting it with a melee attack roll as part of the Attack action, choose one of the following effects: gain a 1d8 bonus to the attack's damage roll, or push the target up to 3 meters (10 feet) away if it is no more than one size larger than you. You can use this benefit only once on each of your turns.
Charger: Weapon Attack:
- Damage bonus changed from +5 to +1d8
- Ability cost reduced to 1 action (can benefit from Extra Attack)
- Range limit removed
- 1:1 movement cost added
- No longer requires proficiency with equipped weapon
- Shares once-per-turn cooldown with Charger: Shove
Charger: Shove:
- Now an attack, dealing full weapon damage and pushing the target if the attack lands
- Cannot be used on enemies that are Huge or larger
- Restored missing ability icon
- Ability cost reduced to 1 action (can benefit from Extra Attack)
- Range limit removed
- 1:1 movement cost added
- No longer requires proficiency with equipped weapon
- Shares once-per-turn cooldown with Charger: Weapon Attack
