Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added a DC10 Medicine check to Help a downed character.
When a character that is knocked down to 0 HP, get helped, they forfeit their action point. To me it really messes with the action economy of the party. You basically lose half your characters in a turn. I hate that.
The mod makes it so that when a "Downed" character is healed, they regain any action points. Keep in mind that this makes the combat a little easier since you can double dip with an AoE heal.
However, helped character loses half of their movement for that turn. As if they are recovering from "Prone". This is consistent of my understand with 5e rules.
Update: To make it closer to 5e rules, you now need to pass a DC10 Medicine check to help a downed character. Note: There is some visual clutter though. If you use "Help" to remove Burning, Entangled, Prone etc, the user will still make a medicine check. The result however is meaningless. The negative status will be removed regardless. It behaves exactly how it behaves originally in the game, just with an unnecessary medicine roll. I couldn't make the action behave in 2 different ways depending on the status of the target.
