This mod doubles as a chiropractic session for Arron in the druid grove.
This mod page consists of various patches for custom item mods found in my collections, Difficulty, Immersion, Quality & DIQ Extras.

The what:

  • All 3 of the main files just overwrite treasure tables and direct items to containers from my mod Trade with Withers Addon - Containers. These containers are found in Wither's vendor inventory and inside of the tutorial chest.
  • The optional files consist of other .txt file edits, such as equipment.txt, object.txt, armor.txt etc. Read about the specifics below.
  • All of these patches are packed at packing priority 125. It's overkill, but despite reading that packing priority is not an issue with mod conflicts/overwrites it seemed to be the case when testing these.
  • These patches should all be loaded rather low (last) in the load order, mods patched by these files will likely not be patched if they're loaded below my files.
  • You shouldn't need every single mod for the patches to work without issue, the game should just ignore what is not present. I'm not 100% on this, but at face value when testing it appears to be the case.

The why:

  • To reduce clutter from many vendors across the game.
  • To provide a means of acquiring custom items without the ability to exploit them for gold.
  • To be able to curate the availability of items, leaving some items out of these treasure tables intentionally. E.g: Druid Wildshape Items - Weapons Armor and more gear has a crate in the tutorial chest with all of the items, which otherwise have immersive and balanced distribution throughout the game world.
  • The divide items into different containers based on type, to compensate for the game's lackluster sorting systems.
  • To provide a consistent and readily available shopping experience, through the one and only bone man.

Sorry, information on this page needs updating some. Refer to changelogs and requirements above for the most recent information on these patches.

DIQ Clothing Patches:
Moves the custom items from the mods below to my Trade with Withers Addon - Containers important/weapon containers.

DIQ Misc Item Patches:
Moves the custom items from the mods below to my Trade with Withers Addon - Containers important/weapon containers.

DIQ Clothing Patches - Nerfs:
Makes the custom items from the mods below in line with the lowest vanilla stats for the armour types/camp clothes, also reduces prices to 1 GP.

DIQ Companion Starting Equipment:
Adds the custom items from the mods below to companion Equipment.txt files, overwriting their starting gear. All companions start with containers, health potions and resurrection scrolls. Companions with custom armour have had new unique entries made, been balanced and reduced to 1 GP, as they still have their original armour in their bags too!
