To the folks who hate AA with all their passion and who can't wait to leave a hateful comments about AA: i made this mod for myself and my fellow AA fans who disliked the scared facial expressions during kisses. If you dislike the mod or disagree with me, then look away. No one's forcing you to use it, let the others enjoy it.

Updated for Patch 7:
while patch 7 improves the kisses immensely, i still decided to tweak them a bit to make them look even more positive than before.
Bitey kiss stayed the same because it already looked perfect ;D

Update: added a version of Moxi's [MOXI_Nightingales_Lord_Astarion] with same slight tweaks to patch7 expressions.
For now there's only a version of [MOXI_NightingalesLordAstarion_v3_using_patch7]. Let me know if you'll need other versions tweaked

Non-replacer version (main file) is incompatible with any mods that edit [Astarion_InParty2_Nested_PartneredWithAstarion.lsf]
not compatible with Astarion Kiss Dialogue Fixed and will never be

I've also managed to fix Ascended Astarion's "bitey" kiss. Your character will no longer stare at him with a stinky face after receiving a kiss
Download either [FixAAKissExpression_All_Happy] or [MOXI_Nightingales_Lord_Astarion_standard_v2]
Check the footage to see how the edited kiss looks like

  • Now there's another version of original mod with facial expressions edited by maldon555.
maldon555 volunteered to help and experiment and edited the facial expressions during "kneeling" kiss, so now Tav/Durge looks rather smug (check this link to see how the kiss looks like). This version also makes your character look a bit surprised when AA suddenly stops during "looking at neck" kiss

Info for replacers (optional files):

So, I figured out which facial expressions were used during AA kisses and swapped all scared, sad and pained ones that were used in the kisses to happy facial expressions. 
Yeah, you've heard it right, for now it's just a replacer that swaps the original facial expressions to happy ones, so your Tav/Durge may express themselves a bit weirdly during other cutscenes. It can also affect npcs that use the default/vanilla faces available to you in the character creator.

That's it until i figure out how to edit only kiss-related files without touching the original animations. If you know if there's a file that contains a list of animations that are used during the kiss, let me know, and i'll try editing it, so we can have a version that won't alter original animation files.

For now it changes animation files of facial expressions for default and possibly modded faces of male/female elves/tieflings/humans. Should also work on drow and half-elves.
Now it also has a version for dagonborn and half-orcs.
Let me know if it works on modded faces properly.
For now it only changes the animations used in kneeling and "admiring the neck" kisses. 

There's also a version that works on female gith heads, but it needs a bit more testing. Let me know if it works/doesn't work or if it affects companion Lae'zel's facial expressions.

If you want any other races animations to be added, let me know and i'll try to make it work.

Installation/Uninstallation:

Install it like any other mod with mod manager of your choice.

This mod can be safely installed and uninstalled at any point.
