Another submission to the Baldur's Gate 3 July Modathon! This time fixing a bug preventing you from getting Wyll's reaction after you recruit Minsc.
So, Wyll actually has a unique scene with Minsc after you recruit him!! And it's adorable, but unfortunately I'm not sure how many people have seen it. There's actually a bug preventing you from seeing it if you talk to Wyll in camp at any point after recruiting Minsc. It's very easy to lock yourself out of it permanently!
The reason why this happens is actually because the scene can only be triggered outside of camp; characters generally can't join conversations with other companions in camp, and this is no exception. However, the dialogue does not actually test to see whether you're in camp or not. And because it's not testing for it, you can actually trigger it improperly without getting to see the scene.
This means the game thinks you've gotten the conversation, even if you haven't. And if Wyll is not in your party when recruiting Minsc, or if you talk to Wyll at any point in camp before getting the conversation, you'll end up locking yourself out of the scene entirely. (This can happen even if he was in your party at the time!)
This mod fixes that!! All it does is add a flag to test whether you're in camp to the conversation, which will prevent it from triggering improperly, and getting skipped over permanently if you are.
To trigger the conversation, make sure you have both Wyll and Minsc in your party, and talk to Wyll outside of camp.

The mod overrides Wyll's topical greetings dialogue file, which can be found at this file path here:
//Data/Mods/GustavDev/Story/DialogsBinary/Companions/Wyll_InParty2_Nested_TopicalGreetings.lsf
The mod will conflict with any other mod that overrides that file!
This mod also conflicts with kilay's mod Origin's G ds. Installing both mods at the same time will reset your mod load order!!
I have no idea why they conflict, and I'm not sure how to go about fixing that, unfortunately 😭 But please be aware that the mods do conflict and will reset mod load order when installed together!
Installation:
Install via BG3 Mod Manager! This mod is an override, so it doesn't need to go in your mod load order in BG3 Mod manager, but you can if you'd like!
Uninstallation:
The mod should be safe to remove, even mid-playthrough. The change I made will revert when the mod is uninstalled!
