Firstly I wanna start with a big thanks to my friend Kbachani, he helped a lot with this mod, namely the rigging for the cowl. The decowl and overall cowl rig would not be nearly as good without him. I'm sure you've already seen his mods but incase not go check them out.

Now I did have the AC mod already made, however I decided to completely remake it from pretty much the ground up. It now has overall a lot more polish and features, along with the AC Head, featuring decowl and wrinkle support (only on pristine), as well as fear gas damage. Better overall on a lot of levels. I even improved upon some of the things with the suit in general on a technical level.

Let's talk about the basic material stuff first. Namely the biggest difference is I used a totally different method to calculate the PBR textures. There's only a few minor steps that made it different, however I believe it really drives the overall look home.
The symbol is one of the unique parts when it comes to this front, where in contrast to the rest of the suit, it has effectively no shading (aside from just raw PBR). In AC the symbol has a really odd look where usually when being hit by direct light, it'll have this really harsh fall off into pretty much just the base color. In contrast, sometimes the symbol won't have any fall off and just be the pure specular.
Recreating it was a bit tricky but I believe the effect is perfect, and mimics AC perfectly. I did mainly by taking advantage of AK's metallicity, which acts extremely similar to the weird shading they had on the symbol in AC. Overall I'd say out of everything on the suit it was the hardest to recreate, but I'm really glad with how it turned out.

Now let's move onto some of the recreations of the shading.
AC has this fresnel system that call radial shading, they use it on metals and skin. Oddly enough they use metal radial shading on not only the gauntlets, but the cowl as well. So I recreated the look of it based on pictures and fiddling with it in AC itself. The cape's shading is also really similar, but more of a weakened version of the cowls. Which gives them a really similar look, however in some lighting they may look slightly different coloring or brightness wise, just like in AC.

Now my absolutely most favorite part of the entire suit that I've made is specifically the belt buckle. In AC they have this really cool look to it that sorta looks like some lacquered piece of rougher metal, and I believe I've achieved that effect really well and even with some authenticity to the original. In older Arkhams they typically would use reflection maps. In AK, they don't really ever use those for any characters as far as I'm aware. So instead what I did is took advantage of their anisotropic reflection, usually it's used to recreate the reflections of steel, leather, or lacquered carbon fiber. However instead of using the ramps they usually do, I used the same reflection map texture as AC. And with the fiddling of some of the values and the mask used to apply it, I believe it really, really, accurately recreates the buckle. Personally I can't get enough of it cause it really looks good.
