This mod adds The Death, my original character that I made up when I was 10 years old, thanks to Medi that I commissioned from her to make this happen. She brought this character to Arkham Knight.
Everything began when Michael was a police officer of the Blüdhaven Police Department (BPD), everyone in the city knew that the Police was very corrupt, but they couldn't do anything with it. The corruption ranged from unacceptable behavior by set Police Officers to ignoring illegal activities as long as they get payed to ignore. Michael was one of those Police Officers, He was a fine man, not a great man but neither an horrible person. He did his job as a Police Officer and occasionally was payed for Ignoring crimes.
Michael had a loving wife named Sarah and a child coming soon. Sarah was a journalist for the "News at Blüdhaven" and was against set corruption of the Police, she fought against them many times but failed to get any valid evidence to release to the world and maybe have a chance to get any sort of help from other cities. Michael was bothered by her work, but decided to ignore it, thinking she won't manage to find out what's really happening there, because the fact is that Sarah didn't know what was Michael really doing as a Police Officer.
Everything began on one horrible day for Michael. Michael was patrolling as scheduled for him and he managed to encounter a Weapons Dealing happening on a small alley, after peaking from behind a wall, he noticed it was Penguin's gang that were part of the trade and remembered that the Penguins are paying the BPD to ignore Penguin's gang activities, and because of that he decided to ignore Dealing. But then out of blue, he hears a woman screaming from the alley, he recognized the scream, and when he decided to peek at the alley again he found out that the Penguins held an hostage, his wife Sarah. She tried to get some information on the Penguins, thinking she might also get more information about the Police Corruption, but the Penguin's noticed her and took her as an hostage.
Michael was obviously angry and scared from the situation, he knew he couldn't interrupt the deal, because if he did it would cause chaos in the city, the agreement between the Police and the Penguins would be demolished and they'll start a war that the BPD won't win. On the other hand he won't let anything bad happen to Sarah and the child, so without any words and hesitation he started shooting at the gangs. He was an expert at shooting, a marksman you can say, he was fully confident he could take them all out. There were 10 thugs in the scene The other 5 thugs from the other gang fled the scene, afraid that the Police were coming. However, the Penguin's were shocked at what's happening, they just weren't ready for Michael. Michael managed to kill 3 out of the 5 thugs, the fourth was injured and the fifth managed to run away. The injured thug warned Michael that War will be coming because of him, and as the thug finished speaking, Michael pulled the trigger and shot the thug's head. Sarah was shocked from this all scene and realized from Michael and the thug that something was wrong with Michael, she asked him to tell her the truth immediately, Michael thought to himself what will be the point at keeping this a secret anymore, so he told her. She was mad, devastated and disappointed at her husband, she couldn't bare listen to him anymore and decided to run away from the scene, Michael was shocked too from what just happened but he couldn't fully process it.
The next day Michael didn't come to work, instead he decided to find his wife after what happened the other day. Last night Sarah didn't come home and Michael was scared of leaving her alone with the child in this god forsaken city, so he rushed to find her.
Meanwhile in the BPD, everyone there found out what happened and found out from the Penguins that it was in fact Michael who was responsible for the shoot out, the Penguin's said if they find Michael and give him to the Penguin's then there won't be any war, and the BPD agreed to these conditions and were forced to find Michael Ash.
While Michael was a way from home, Sarah decided to come back. She was obviously in no condition to be surviving in the streets while having no money on her with a baby. She came back to collect her stuff and leave the city for good, she lost hope for everything after what she found out about Michael. At this exact time, someone started knocking at her door, saying that it's time to pay rent. Sarah thought it was the actual home owner so she opened the door, and she found out that it was in fact not the home owner but 2 Police Officer aiming with a silencer at her stomach. When she opened the door they immediately stared shooting her until there were no more bullets left in the gun, only after stopping they realized that it wasn't Michael who answered the door but it was his wife Sarah. Realizing they made a mistake they quickly ran away from the scene, knowing if anybody sees them, they'll be in trouble.
Hours later Michael was heading back to his apartment after a long day of searching Sarah through her work, down to her parents. When he got up all the stairs to his apartment he started seeing blood stains near his door, getting ready to pull his gun he entered the house only to find a dead body of Sarah laying there for at least couple of hours. He couldn't believe what he saw, he had so many emotions flowing. Shock, Guilt, Sadness, Anger and Vengeance...
Later that night, Michael found out who killed his wife and child though connections he has in the Police Department. It was Greg and Josh. After what he found out he decided what needed to be done. He managed to call them and meet him up in a small alley pretending that he just wants to talk to them like friends, Greg and Josh were surprised from the call but were ready to kill him on the spot. When they came to the said alley, they realized it's the same alley that Michael had the shoot out against the Penguins. After that they waited for him, suddenly Michael jumps off the emergency exit stairs straight on Greg, Josh got shocked but started to pull out is gun, but with no success. Michael had his gun in hands and shot the Josh in the leg. After that Josh was paralyzed and wounded. While Josh was wounded he saw has Michael started to beat up Greg to death in front of his eyes, after 3 minuets later Greg was dead, Michael hands bleed with Greg's blood and his, he started approaching Josh. Josh began to cry and begged for Michael to stop, and that it was only an order from the higher ups, Michael answered to him, saying "I don't care" and proceeded to beat him without mercy, Josh screamed from pain and Michael screamed with anger.
After beating Josh to death as well, Michael simply sat down wondering what he has done. He felt nothing. It wasn't the first time Michael has killed, but this felt much different. He realized that Sarah wouldn't have wanted this for him, with guilt and sadness he returned home, this time not entering his apartment but instead going to the roof. He stood near the edge of he building, thinking about what he has done to so many innocent people by ignoring all the messed up things in this city. He stepped one centimeter closer to the edge, ready to jump. But suddenly he hears Police sirens and gun shots from far away, from what he could see, he saw a gang of unknown crime boss fighting against Nightwing, Blüdhaven's Hero and related to The Batman. After Michael saw how Nightwing fought he thought to himself how he can Fix Blüdhaven, how He can restore the justice system has it once was, how he will avenge Sarah's and Stan's death (Stan was how Michael wanted to name their child).
He got off the roof, and returned to his apartment where the body is still laying there but with a blanket on top. And he started sewing something. He got inspired to serve Justice, like Nightwing, like Batman. But he wasn't going to be exactly like Batman, he will become something more, something that Michael truly thinks will result in better solution to the city. He regrets killing Greg and Josh, but he knew he won't make the same mistake. He still thinks killing is the right way, but he will only kill Horrific people that have caused only harm to the city and that don't deserve to live. He started to make a suit, wondering how he should name himself. Vengeance, Blood, Red Death. Death... He thought to himself that the name fits what he has gone through. And that was the name, The Death. A masked Vigilante stopping the criminal and the corrupt Police.
And after making his persona has The Death he started on his path of Hero, even though he didn't think he was a Hero. He encountered many new Super Villains that posed threat to Michael and the city. For example, he defeated the Electrocutioner (not the one from Arkham Origins), He solved the great mystery of The Mask, and he saved innocent lives from The Human Butcher and others... He also fought alongside Nightwing when the city got into real trouble. They fought against Killer Croc, The Penguin's gang and Black Mask's gang.
Slowly but surely The Death trained to become a better detective, a fighter and more open to other Heroes. He became a myth of Blüdhaven City, the city named him as, Blüdhaven's Reaper.
