This mod gives the lone wolf a few extra perks from the beginning: Brawny, Fearsome, Sword Mastery, and, of course, Lone Wolf. That way he can be a real champion, and not just another bro, but without unbalancing the game too much. There is a variant that also allows you to have up to 16 men in the roster.
Installation: Choose a variant and drop the .zip file into your game's data directory. No need to unpack it. NOTE:mod_hooks ("modding script hooks") v16 or later is required.
