About this mod
Overhauls many things that I deemed unnecessary/not fitting to the game, this includes audio mostly
- Permissions and credits
Long project that started as a simple personal mod to a somewhat lengthy modification of the game's both visual and audio work/soundtrack.
FEATURES:
TEXTURE AND UI REWORK:
- Class gadgets have been retexturized or slightly changed to be more faction neutral
- Replaces the Austro-Hungarian, Bolshevik and Royal Marines flag to look more like the real life counterparts. (The Russian Empire flag has also been slightly tweaked)
- Completely removes the ugly looking squares that surround all especializations for a more cleaner, minimalist look.
- Most of the faction icons have been altered/replaced to represent each one of the beforehand mentioned factions accurately. (All in the style of the game, credits to ItsPeahead on Deviantart)
- New shoulder patches for all factions.
AUDIO OVERHAUL:
- New menu music
- Operations intermission voicelines have all been modified so each faction now speaks their language regardless of setting
- Polish voicelines have been added to the Germans, meaning you may hear a pole here and there for the immersion.
- Oil of Empires now presents an extended round start soundtrack.
- Galicia and Brusilov's OST are both replaced with the Łupków Pass one respectively
- Apocalypse maps round start and attackers advance soundtrack have also been replaced by the Battlefield classic theme, although ripped from Air Assault and edited to fit for the ground gamemodes.
- Removes the crispy funny sounding burning voice lines and adds clearer ones for immersion.
- Also removes the crispy bayonet charges/war cries for the same reason.
1.1 CHANGELOG:
- The crowd charges you hear on Operations have all been extended
- Fixed a mistake in the Tsaritsyn Ops intermission where the Bolshevik announcer spoke English instead
- Completely remade all faction icons
- Added some flag changes
- Trench Raider grunts now sound clearer for both the German and French side
