
Evasive Pips:
- Mechs have a chance to keep their evasive pips. This chance starts at 0% and increased per level of piloting. Note that Ace Pilot increases this chance per tier.
Pilot XP:
- Pilots have a maximum experience that they can reach. This is capped at 60,000 XP.
- Pilot experience per mission has diminishing returns. For every 7,500 XP they have they will generate less experience per mission.
- This experience cap can lead to final pilots such as: 10/9/6/6, 10/10/4/4, 10/8/7/6, and 8/8/8/8.
- Pilots can reset their experience and respec their tree once the second Argo Training Module is unlocked. This can be accomplished by Shift-clicking on the Skills tab in the barracks.
Injuries:
- All pilot injuries have a chance to cause 0-3 wounds. More wounds are possible to be caused the fewer points of armor that the cockpit has remaining. Note that this will be a general increase to pilot lethality.
- The cockpit upgrades have been reworked to be dangerous/standard/safe cockpits. This will have a significant effect upon the likelihood and range of pilot injuries.
- Light Injuries are caused by dropping with fatigued pilots. This chance to avoid Light Injuries starts at 0% and increases per the listed Guts value.
Mech Bonding:
- Pilots get bonuses the more frequently they drop within the same weight class of 'Mech. Every time they drop within a weight class they will gain one Bonding XP point for this mech class and lose one Bonding XP point per every other class. This will max out at 100 Bonding XP.
- The bonuse that pilots will receive when dropping within a mech of their bonded weight class:
- 10 drops (Green): Reduced Fatigue
- 30 drops (Regular): +1 Piloting Skill
- 60 drops (Veteran): +1 Gunnery Skill
- 100-110 drops (Elite): Weight Class Mastery
Weight Class Mastery:
Lights: One ghost pip gained at the end of each sprint movement.
Mediums: 5% Damage Reduction per Evasion Pip.
Heavies: Ignores movement penalties for difficult terrain.
Assaults: 40% less chance of receiving critical hits.
