About this mod

MoreTanks 3025.

Tired of facing Demolishers and Schreks? Well, how about some Pattons, Pikes, and Partisans instead? Here are another 8 heavy and assault vehicles to the game, ready for the AI to use.

Notes:
1) This mod re-uses existing game models to add missing 3025-era canon vehicles.
2) Requires ModTek.

Why make this mod?
Because there are a lot of 3025 era mechs and vehicles out there that aren't in the game.

Why re-use models?
While it is possible to add models from MWO, doing that is a lot of work, and not something I want to support or deal with the associated hassles.  So instead, I'm taking the simpler route to get the stats of the missing mechs in game, if not the looks.  It's something at least.

Why start with a bunch of tanks when everyone will be more interested in the mechs?
Tanks are a bit simpler to implement, and I got really bored of always facing the same five types of 60 and 80-ton tanks.  So I added the heavy and assault tanks from the 3025 and 3026 tech manuals.

What's going to be added in the next version?
I'm hoping to add a Community Asset Bundle using variant, plus more vehicles.

V1.81 has the following:

Vehicles:
- Behemoth - A 100 ton, bullet and missile-spewing monstrosity.  Uses Demolisher model.
- Ontos - This 95 ton thing excels at melting off armor with its 8 medium lasers.  But lest you think you're safe at range, it has some LRMs as well.  Uses Manticore model.
- Partisan - Packing four AC/5s, this 80 ton tank will have you wishing it was a Schrek instead.  Uses Schrek model.
- Patton - With its AC/10 and LRM 5, this 65 tonner is more than happy to make the other poor bastard die for his country.  Uses Bulldog model.
- Pike - Like its namesake, the Pike has reach, thanks to its triple AC/2s.  But just in case an enemy gets in close, it also packs a pair of SRMs.  Uses Schrek model.
- Rommel - Trading in some armor and some of the close in weaponry, the Rommel upgrades to the AC/10 of its brother to the mighty AC/20.  Uses Bulldog model.
- SturmFeur - Clocking in at 85 tons, this tank will rain fire upon you with its two LRM-20s.  And while you might be relieved that that's one less launcher than an LRM Carrier, you'll find it has a bit more armor.  Uses Bulldog model.
- Von Luckner - A rarity on the battlefields these days, the 75 ton Von Luckner uses its LRM-10 to soften up its targets, before closing in and finishing them off with an AC/20 and sixteen SRM tubes.  Uses Bulldog model.
