Overview
This small mod increases the viewmodel FoV for primary weapons from 65 to 90. As 90 is the FoV of the camera, this mod makes the weapons look less squished and allows you to see more of the screen, if only by a little.

Currently it is not possible to make this change for the pistols. Also, there may be some clipping near the edge of the screen, especially when using certain weapon attachments.

Requirements
Gildor's Unreal Package Decompressor
Hex Editor Neo

Installation
  • Navigate to "\steamapps\common\Blacklight Tango Down\FoxGame\CookedPCConsole"
  • Locate FoxGameContent_SF.upk and make a backup of it outside of the Tango Down installation. If you don't back it up, you'll have to reinstall the game or verify the game cache to get the original file back.
  • Extract decompress.exe (from decompress.zip) to the backup location.
  • Drag & drop FoxGameContent_SF.upk onto decompress.exe. A new, decompressed version of FoxGameContent_SF.upk will be created inside a folder titled "unpacked"
  • Install Hex Editor Neo if you haven't already (if you customize your installation, make sure that "Patch API" stays checked)
  • Run ViewFoV-90.hexpatch (from "90 Viewmodel FoV Patch-2-1-0-1608705729.zip").
  • For "Path to the file to patch," select the decompressed FoxGameContent_SF.upk.
  • Press Start. It will give you a message saying the patch was created with the free version of Hex Editor Neo. Simply press Continue.
  • Copy the modified FoxGameContent_SF.upk and paste it back into "\CookedPCConsole"
  • The mod should now be installed. To check, simply load into a game with any weapon. The difference should be noticeable immediately.

Compatibility
This mod is incompatible with any other mods that change the weapons' viewmodel FoV. Anything else should be good to go.
