About this mod

Dynamically slow or freeze threats in midair with customizable slow-motion effects and Gojo’s Neutral Infinity. I recommend you use trigger-activated infinity spell for precise control instead of always on. Press alt-use to squish enemies like Gojo did Hanami. Now with VFX! Fully configurable in the mod menu.

Permissions and credits
Gojo’s Neutral Infinity – Now with VFX!
  • Trigger-Activated Infinity: Equip and hold down the trigger to activate Neutral Infinity selectively, granting precise control over your combat flow. Highly Recommended for strategic gameplay.
  • Strengthen Infinity (Gojo’s Domain Expansion): While holding the Infinity trigger, press the alt-use button to expand the Infinity domain dynamically. Enemies within range will be lifted and suspended mid-air. Approaching these suspended enemies increases the force of pushback, while stepping away reduces it until they're released.
  • VFX Spawn: New visual effects (VFX) on suspended enemies and their weapons. Choose from many base-game effects (recommended: Electricity Imbue for creatures, Gravity Spell Hold for items). Note: Some listed effects are experimental or from other mods and may not function—this feature is a work in progress!

Important Note: The "Infinity Always-On" mode still has bugs with the expansion feature. It's recommended to use either "Infinity Spell Only" or "Speedster + Infinity Spell" mode until this is fixed.

Streamlined Time Manipulation & Zones
  • The mod uses distance-based zones (Close, Medium, Far, Very Far) to dynamically adjust time dilation and enemy/item slowdowns:
    • Close Zone: Extreme slowdown or complete freeze.
    • Medium/Far Zones: Gradual, customizable slow-motion.
  • Transition Speeds: Adjust these settings to control how quickly the slow-motion effect ramps up or down. Higher values yield snappier transitions; lower values create smoother, cinematic slowdowns.
  • Melee Dot Threshold: Adjust this angle threshold to fine-tune how strictly incoming melee threats must be aimed toward you to trigger slow-motion.
  • Baseline Time Scale: Set your preferred game speed when no immediate threats are present, from full speed (1.0) to subtle slow-motion (e.g., 0.65).
Recommended Reflex Modes:
  • Speedster + Infinity Spell (default): Dynamic slowdown plus trigger-activated Infinity.
  • Infinity Spell Only: Tactical control—Infinity only activates while holding the trigger.
  • Avoid Infinity Always-On due to current bugs with the Infinity Expansion feature.
Mod Menu Highlights:
  • General Toggle: Quickly disable all effects with one switch.
  • Customizable Slowdown Zones & Factors: Fine-tune your gameplay experience.
  • VFX Selection: Experiment with immersive visual effects.
Credits & Acknowledgments:
  • Original inspiration: Sectix’s Lightning Reflexes.
  • Mod-menu framework: Piepop.
  • Trigger-activated spell code & new spell icon: VI Stars (Forcefield Mod).

Known Issues:
  • Infinity and Slow Motion Interaction: If Infinity is active and base-game slow motion is used, it inadvertently boosts your movement speed, especially when combined with Hyperfocus, causing extreme and unintended launches. Currently unsolved; recommended workaround is activating regular slow-motion first, then Infinity, but if infinity is already active then only use regular slowmotion, you get faster but its manageable, hyperfocus you just zoom out the map
  • Fireballs & Infinity: Long-range fireballs prematurely lose momentum—close-range fireballs behave correctly.
  • Sheathed Weapons: Currently incorrectly triggering slow-motion; planned fix in future updates.
  • VFX occasionally spawn inside your head/body, idk why, working on it
  • Performance: This mod emphasizes responsiveness over optimization; future versions will provide settings tailored for various performance needs.
This mod is continually evolving, built through collaboration, shared knowledge, and sheer determination (alongside generous helpings of borrowed code and ChatGPT wizardry). Your feedback is crucial—let’s keep improving together!
Enjoy mastering the power of Infinity!

P.S. - I have been procrastinating learning how to make things in unity, hence why I had to borrow from base game vfx, if anyone out there knows how to make custom effects and would like to either give me some guidance or just make a VFX for this mod, then please let me know
