This new system overhauls the gameplay for magic users in Blade and Sorcery! You can now switch between spells with swift and dynamic hand gestures, instead of using the spell wheel! Have you ever downloaded several spell mods but then found it difficult or inconvenient to use the large spell wheel to find the spell you need in the heat of battle? This mod is for you!
This mod comes packaged with over 40 gestures - for both left and right hands, which allows for a much more natural way to equip spells compared to a large cumbersome spell wheel.
This spell gesture system is fully customizable! Any gesture can be mapped to any spell in your catalog, including modded spells! Any gesture can also be disabled, allowing you to fully customize your playstyle.
This mod includes gestures of three different types: Swipes, Holds, and Combos.
SWIPES:
While holding the grip button, swipe your hand in a direction to equip the spell to that hand. Your hand will vibrate when the gesture has been performed correctly.
Swipe gestures for both left and right hands include:
- Held to the side, palm down
- Held to the side, palm up
- Held forward, palm down
- Held forward, palm up
- Held above head, palm forward
- Held above head, palm backward
- Held close to the head, palm to the side
- Held close to the head, palm backward
- Held close to the head, palm forward
- Held below head at waist, palm forward
- Held below head at waist, palm backward
HOLDS:
Hold your hand in a certain position, then press the grip button to equip the spell to that hand. Your hand will vibrate when the gesture has been performed correctly.
Hold gestures for both left and right hands include:
- Swipe right, then swipe left
- Swipe left, then swipe right
- Swipe up, then swipe down
- Swipe down, then swipe up
- Swipe forward, then swipe backward
- Swipe backward, then swipe forward
COMBOS:
Hold the grip button, then perform multiple swipe gestures. Release the grip button upon completing the gestures to equip the spell. Your hand will vibrate when the gesture has been performed correctly.
Combo gestures for both left and right hands include:
- The assignments of spells to gestures may shift and change within the Mod Options when new spells are loaded.
- If a spell is not equipping with a gesture, make sure the gesture is enabled and that the spell has been learned in your skill tree.
- Certain AI spells are showing in the Mod Options. They will not have any effect if selected.
- This gesture system may cause annoyances when the T3 Mind skill Marionette is activated, because pressing the grip may cause you to throw nearby enemies with telekinesis. Either perform the gestures away from your view or deactivate this skill for maximum effectiveness.
