Welcome to Ultramodded Waves. A wave pack that seeks to elevate regular B&S sandbox combat by taking advantage of many quality mods, spells, AI tweaks, and randomization to bring you unique combat experiences.

To quickly download the bare minimum mods required (plus this mod), try out the collection!

Features:

-Massive stance overhaul on all vanilla and most modded weapons utilizing vanilla and modded stances - ontop of combinations of the two, placed in huge pools that NPCs in many waves use. Current count: One Handed (116), Two Handed (111), Spear (126), Armada ((Shield + 2H + Spear Stance Combo)) (160), Blitzer ((Dual + 1H + Shield Stance Combo)) (188)

-Many of the same weapons are also duplicated across these stances, meaning 2 people wielding the same weapon may use it differently

-New human creature for most non-historic/fantasy wave NPCs with over 110 different natural skin tones (some shades of orange may be too extreme, feedback on this would be appreciated), over 65 natural eye colors, and over 195 (mostly) natural hair colors, used in many waves to add further variety - as well as augments of this with improved health, better or even nullified stagger behavior, and more subtleties.

-Two main harder enemy AI brains that tweak all values (speed of combat-based tasks, dodge speed, enabling side-dodging, spacing between player, pain tolerance/stagger stun delay, and more) as well as unique brain/creature combos for various enemies that do other things together or on a case-by-case basis (disabled ragdolling from player attacks, no reactions to player attacks, completely disabled attempts at dodging, completely ignoring distance from player and constantly pushing them, faster backwards speed to make slippery opponents, etc...)

-Other unique creature types with various sizes, speeds, and more (historical wave enemies are a tiny bit smaller on average, fantasy creatures have wildly different heights, bosses are usually bigger, etc)

-Loads of wave variety that also tries to cover most vanilla wave formats (hopefully more in the future)

-Categories to neatly organize the new waves, placed at the top for less scrolling

Warning: All 24 mods (not including this) required to properly run this may increase loading times by up to 40 seconds, and totals to about 3.5 gigs - so if your mod setup is already huge without having any of the requirements you may want to make a separate setup for this to avoid excessively painful loads. Some popular mods are used in this specifically to try and mitigate the issue, assuming many users may already have at least a quarter of these in their setups.

There are some heavily recommended mods/settings that aren't strictly required, but the waves were balanced around/play nice with it, listed from most important to least:

Half Swording and Support Grip (massively improves combat by allowing vanilla, MMP, and KMP weapons to be half-sworded and two-handed)

MultipleAttackers (makes being surrounded actually matter)

Ultraviolence Audio Overhaul (all weapons + modded MMP/KMP weapons gain much sharper clash sounds)

(vanilla setting) Dismemberment Off (all enemies in the pack were balanced around Dismemberment being disabled since I couldn't find an easy way to forcefully disable it on higher tier enemies, so if you want more prolonged fights or to avoid cheesing bosses you may want to toggle it off... at least for your first fight :))

Current Wave List: (22)

Warpgate (randomized armor/weapon/stance/creature/brain ((*minimum highest baseline difficulty custom brain)) opponent with almost every armor asset in 3 large tiered pools, and basically all weapons in every possible stance ((almost 700 weapon wielding possiblities not counting dual wielders/shielders/throwers/spellswords)) - available in 1v1 through 1v4, FFA, and 5v5 Teams format)

Assassin Ambush (1v4 randomized weapon assassins + a surprise)

Duos Cup (2v2 you and a random schmuck from a predetermined table vs 10 duos of predetermined enemies and an award-giver at the end)

Gone Wrong in the Royal Hood (got stabbed) ((2v7 you and a boss vs 16 incredibly skilled guards))

A Real Knife Guy (endless 1v1 a NPC with the hardest baseline brain + a randomized Blitzer stance knife)

Dojo Doorbuster (1v7 martial artists of progressively better styles)

Baguette Bandit Meeting (1v6 unspeakable horrors)

Meitou Maestro (endless 1v1 an NPC with a unique brain and one of the Meitou weapons from KMP in either Blitzer or Armada stance)

Viking Clan Crashout (1v6 viking Karls, and their Jarl...or something else!?)

Zombie Horde (3v8 vs a whole lotta stupid, slow, and loud zombies)

Enraged Knight Duel (endless 1v1 randomized weapon + randomized custom AI knight pool)

Final Line (1v18 a no-holds-barred Roman Cohors Sagitt)

Landsknecht Blindside (5v5 you and a team of 28 Swedish mercenaries vs well over 100 progressively harder German mercenaries)

Scallywag Bust (1v6 scurvy dogs stealing your LOOT!!!)

Lionheart Band (1v6 courageous scummy knights who will stop at nothing to stab you)

Peasant Uprising (5v5 player/peasant team vs high-variation soldier team warzone w/ higher tier enemies eventually getting involved on both sides following enough casualties)

Lynch Mob (1v6 randomized weapon weak peasants and other light units)

Defend VIP (Extreme) ((2v5 you and a very unfortunate individual VS 20 very angry paladins with custom AI... can you keep the poor guy alive?))

Echelon Gauntlet (1v4 overhauled Progressive Gauntlet w/ augmented vanilla NPCs replacing every wave, and additional advanced unit progression well beyond The Eye; this may challenge you!)

Goblin Squashing Task (1v8 a bunch of weak goblins)

Icewalker Tribe Trespass (1v3 a unique tribe with dubious culinary taste)

Quality of Life (1v1 through 1v10, Easy through Crisp A.I unarmored opponents with access to every randomized weapon/stance table in this mod, ontop of dual/shield/throwing mixture variants - basically unarmored Warpgate with lots more difficulty & amount variety)

More waves are planned, but the final mod list will not change to keep user experience optimal. Feel free to give wave ideas!

Things will probably break or some enemies may act like morons, because of how chonky this is oversights are inevitable, feedback would be appreciated

Known Issues:

Wave enemy order on waves with more than one enemy group messing up if you either spam the wave/start end button like 6 times or (possibly) play a single map long enough through multiple waves - because of a current fatal bug with unknown root cause. This can be fixed by just restarting the level but may still be annoying af (sorry)

Dojo Doorbuster/Warpgate enemies having invisible shins because of the Rakshan pants, if people hate it enough I may change it, but it kills some variety to remove which is why I opted to keep it

Reisläufer Crossbowmen having godawful aim and almost always firing upwards, it requires constant trial/error & game restart testing to fix, so I've focused on other things for now after failing to get it proper for a couple days

Duos Cup Sniper not firing his Hankyu, another one too minor for me to halt release because of it (he's kinda cracked when using it as a psuedo shield at least)

First enemy of a new wave sometimes spawning with the brain/creature of the previous (usually only happens after a different bug)
