The jacket also referred to in in-game files as Player or P, is the main protagonist and player character of Hotline Miami, and a side character in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. He received this fan nickname because of his distinctive letterman jacket.
Biker, also known as Helmet or Hacker, is the deuteragonist of Hotline Miami and a side character in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. He is a former 50 Blessings agent.
The Fans are a group of veterans (Specifically of the Hawaiian conflict theatre of The Soviet-American War, members of the D-Company) who try to recreate the conditions of the original Hotline Miami two years after the fact in an attempt to gain the attention of 50 Blessings. They serve as the main protagonists in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, and along with the Pig Butcher and Manny Pardo, they are used to introduce the new 1991 Setting.
