About this mod
A mod for Blood(1997) designed to improve the game graphics and gameplay keeping the original game atmosphere. The mod intended for old school gamers who once played the original Blood, feel a nostalgia for this game and wants to replay it with improved graphics.

- Extract the content of downloaded archive to any place on your choice;
- Copy content of "Fresh Supply" game to "..\Blood\Game" folder;
- Copy content of "Cryptic Passage" episode to "..\Blood\Game\Addons\Cryptic Passage" folder (optional);
- Copy content of "Death Wish" episode to "..\Blood\Game\Addons\Death Wish" folder (optional);
- Copy content of "Fate of the Damned" episode to "..\Blood\Game\Addons\Fate of Damned" folder (optional);
- Copy content of "Lost Episode" to "..\Blood\Game\Addons\Lost Episode" folder (optional);
- Copy content of "MARROW" episode to "..\Blood\Game\Addons\MArrow" folder (optional);
- Copy content of "The Way Of Ira" episode to "..\Blood\Game\Addons\Way Of Ira" folder (optional);
You can easily find them in internet. For some of content the launcher will display the link where you can get it if you click the button
with the corresponding episode.
- Run a Blood_RivarezEd.exe, select an options on your choice at the bottom of launcher window, then click a button with the game you want to play.
Brief of some mod features:
- Based on modified Raze engine (fork of Build engine games backed by GZDoom tech). A new features for operating with voxels added to the engine;
- A launcher created to easy launch the original Blood game and the following episodes: Cryptic Passage, The Lost Episode, Death Wish, MARROW, The Way Of Ira, Fate of the Damned;
- Almost all 2D sprites has replaced with 3D voxels;
- Built-in Reshade with Fake Bilinear Filtering for better voxels looking;
- HD textures used;
- New HD weapons;
- Increased maximum ammo count the player can carry;
- Fixed and improved the weapon shell casings. Fixed the shooting effects for tesla-gun;
- Adjusted a spread of double-barreled shotgun to make it look like the real. The damage from shooting from one barrel is equal to half of damage from shooting from 2 barrels;
- Added a new feature for the double-barreled shotgun. If you fire from one barrel and then press the alternate firing button, the barrel from which you fired will be reloaded. Previously, it was just a shot from the second barrel. That is, now you can reload one barrel of a double-barreled shotgun;
- Increased a damage of the tommy-gun, the damage in main and alternative shooting modes has been made the same. The horizontal spread has been reduced and made equal to the vertical spread;
- A new option to replace the tommy-gun with minigun;
- Increased a damage of tesla-gun;
- Increased the time that player stays underwater;
- Changed a gameplay with Hellhounds monsters;
- Cultists with shotguns and tommy-guns now always leave ammo. Cultists with dynamite leave dynamite, cultists with tesla-guns leave ammo for it;
- High quality sound effects. Edited some sounds;
- A blood decals does not disappear. Increased the count of different blood decals - they are added randomly;
- Cultists' corpses does not disappear;
- Zombies are now of different random sizes and shades. Some trees also have different random sizes and shades.
