A simple mod that rebinds jump to L3 (controller left stick click).
This allows you to jump even while standing still.
Rolling no longer jumps, so you can roll while sprinting.

Description
There are two main versions: Modern and Classic
- Modern: you can jump with L3 even while standing still
- Classic: much like vanilla, you have to be dashing to jump
Each of the main versions have two variants included: Jump only and Enhanced
- Jump only: only adds the jump feature
- Enhanced: adds the following additional features:
- Jump attack: hold X (interact) and press R1 (normal attack)
- Drop off of ladders: press L3 while on a ladder
Notes on "Switch Action" and Modern version
In the game there are like 2 places where a "switch action" prompt pops up. This is when you're in the range of several interaction, e.g. an NPC and a door. In this situation you're supposed to use L3 to switch between the prompts (talk to the NPC or open the door). Since the modern version allows jumping from neutral state with L3, you wouldn't be able to "switch action", so I added a jump prevention button. If you hold L1 (weapon transform) you can press L3 to switch between the actions without jumping. This is super niche and 99% of the game you won't need this feature, but it's there for those rare occasions.
Installation:
- Extract the mod and copy c0000.hks to dvdroot_ps4\action\script\ overwriting the original file
Uninstallation:
- Restore the file with the provided backup
Not compatible with any mods that modify the c0000.hks (unless you merge the files)
