Changelogs
Version 0.3.2
Uhhh so apparently the xbox elden ring files were corrupted. Weirdly enough I've been playing with these versions and encountered 0 problems but it seems to break some peoples games... sorry about that :/
...so as penance I've added versions with A+B swapped for anyone who needs it
Version 0.3.1
Removed those stinky dualshock motion control icons (in a new optional file)
Version 0.3
Added joycon style D-pads for switch prompts and separated all the files into seperate downloads. Still don't think the DS3 versions are pixel-perfect just yet but I should probably stop spamming updates to the nexus...
Version 0.2.7
Unsquished the A/B button (oops!)
Version 0.2.6
Adjusted the highlights so DS3 version looks better at 720p. Let's be honest, it's what most of us are playing at.
Version 0.2.5
Cooked up a set of switch prompts
Version 0.2.4
When I scaled up the UI for the elden ring version I accidentally used bilinear sampling. This made that weird seam on the interaction box look a little bit worse. I've fixed this and stretched the interaction box gradient texture out by a couple pixels, this should hopefully hide the seam a little better.
Version 0.2.3
Fixed yucky compression on ds3 style buttons
Version 0.2.2
Added full res elden ring icons where possible
Version 0.2.1
Fixed higher resolutions (1440+)
Version 0.2
Added elden ring UI and x360 UI
Now contains an option for switch style UI
Polite note to pirates : Please be a chad and consider buying and dumping your own copy of Bloodborne, it's an incredible game by an incredible studio and the game is worth every penny. Thank you Impolite note to pirates : If you don't go buy a PS4 and a copy of Bloodborne right now, I'll come to your house and stab you in the neck with my copy. Thank you
Polite note to sony : I will happily buy this game again if you release it in an official capacity on PC. I don't even care if it requires a PSN login, I'll do it. Thank you Impolite note to sony : Fine, keep your official port assholes. Xbox is better anyways. I'm gonna go play starfield instead. Thank you
Installation is fairly straight forward, just replace dvdroot_ps4/menu/common.tpf.dcx with your preferred version. As with all mods, you might wanna back-up the original too
For switch pro controller/joycon support you can use steam input:
Add a non-steam game and select your shadps4.exe.
Click the cog to get to the properties window.
Here you can change the name of your new shortcut. To tell shadps4 to open your game on launch, copy the path to your eboot.bin and put it in quotes next to the exes path in "target". Make sure that "start in" is set to the directory where shadps4.exe is located.
Go to the controller tab and enable steam input.
Now you should be able to launch the game through steam and your controller should work. Grab some custom images from steamgriddb (BetterJoyForCemu should also work if you don't want to launch through steam.)
