this is for anyone who dislikes the dynamic crosshairs.
unfortunatly this is coded into each weapon individually,
so no console command exists to turn them off :(
so i made this :) there are 2 styles to choose from and
5 colors of each.
so if you prefer a static crosshair, then here ya go.
this also contains the code which enables you to 'cook'
your grenades....5 second fuse. which codfiles hosted yesterday.
if you got that minimod and you also get this, you can delete the
previous file.
------------------------------------------------------
installation:
-unzip somewhere for easy access
-put 'user_static_ch.pk3' into your cod 'main' folder.
-checkout the legend to see which one you like
-open the 'crosshairs' folder and choose a ch (only one!)
the names are all pretty self explanitory according to the
legend
-drop your chosen crosshair pk3 file into your cod 'main' folder
-thats it
-try different ones, but use only one crosshair at a time.
-the images are seperate from the code, so feel free to make your
own crosshair to use with it :)
uninstallation:
-get a huge magnet and put it real close to your pc.
-no just kidding, simply throw out the 2 pk3's that you dropped
in your cod 'main' folder. =P
