Changelogs
Version 1.1
Fixed a reported issue, where some video files were missing audio tracks. Fixed files were supplied by padi99.
No longer uses 7Zip's archive parts.
Version 1.0
Remastered most Pre-Rendered Cutscenes to 4K, then downscaled to QHD.
Increased the bitrate heavily due to using a very old video codec.
Overview
This game's Pre-Rendered Cutscenes were natively rendered at 720p, using Bink 1. I have remastered them appropriately to 4K before downscaling them down to QHD, as the game does not support 4K video playback.
The videos have higher bitrate to retain as many details as possible, without showing too much compression artefacts. There are some important notes to mention, as they may impact your gameplay.
The game will no longer allow you to skip cutscenes (tested on an HDD, which was half utilised during in-game playback of the cutscenes, might not be the case with an SSD).
Few cutscenes were left alone due to the game failing to play back the cutscenes.
Some cutscenes may freeze for a second or two, at the end of playback, due to level loading.
Due to the nature of AI, there may be visual artefacts as a result of the AI being unable to determine whether if certain effects are compression artefacts that should be removed or not.
If you connect to the servers, you may see an error stating that the game failed to connect with the servers. Upon hitting OK, the game will take you back to the main menu, and going back to Zombies, will enable you to connect to the servers as normal. This may occur due to file verification or what not.
If any of the above happens to you, I will not be able to provide support as there are no workarounds to these issues.
