If you are struggling with or simply want to skip the fishing mini-game, this mod will massively reduce fish resistance and speed so that all fish can be caught with a single extended button press, even with the starting fishing pole. After the fish is hooked on your line and the fishing gauge appears, simply hold down the catch button to reel it in.
This mod does not alter fish spawn rates or time of day / seasonal / weather requirements, nor does it alter fish swim patterns (you should still be able to distinguish actual fish from trash and flyers based on swimming behavior).
Tested/current as of December 2024 (v 1.1b-1232)
Known Bugs: None.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Unzip and copy the .PAK mod file to the game's "Paks" folder: [Coral Island Installation Directory] \ ProjectCoral \ Content \ Paks NOTE: If you rename the .PAK mod file for any reason, make sure it has "_P" at the end of its filename so that it can be properly loaded by the game.
2. Add "-fileopenlog" (without quotation marks) as a launch argument for the game (e.g., on the game's Steam page go to Manage -> Properties and then under General -> Launch Options type in -fileopenlog)
