Twitter user @YinyangGio14 posted a recreation of Crash's model from the old promotional renders and box arts (seen in Warped, CTR, Bash, and Wrath of Cortex). I modified this model so that I could weight it to the Crash 4 model's skeleton and created simple materials for it in Unreal Engine 4. This model wasn't intended to make the detailed facial expressions of the Crash 4 models, but I tried my best. It looks pretty decent during gameplay when the camera is farther away.
Unfortunately, I had to tone down this model's iconic grin because it was creepy.
